From the service side, I was disappointed because I don't like it when the nail tech doesn't pay 100% attention to the customer. She started speaking in her language to another employee there every now and then. Then, I realized she was almost training the other employee at doing nails, and was explaining how she was doing it. At first that wasn't too bad, but then after 30 min, it seemed as if she paid no mind to me and just forgot that I was a person, not just a pair of hands, so she offered no conversation or involved me in any way-- nothing. I was happy with my nails, so in the end, I wasn't mad. It's just not ideal, from a service perspective. ---I went in a second time, and got Mel. She is amazing! I told her I didn't have much time for a full acrylic nail process, and we came up with a short cut that looked just like the full 1hr process. She went straight at it, no distractions, and my nails were perfect! She made my day--basically week, because she was so careful and quick. No cuts, perfect coating, and exact shape I wanted. I would choose her again and again! ---The third time I came to get an upper lip wax, and got Amy. She was quick and the wax they use is really effective. It's the first time the wax works so well on me. It was a bit messy, some got on my nose, but I didn't mind because she got it off before it dried. She was running behind on her last appointment, so I had to wait for about 5-7 min. And before being done with me, she went up to talk to a customer that walked in to the office. I wondered that why with such a quick procedure, she wouldn't just finish with me first and then go see the other customer, or had an extra employee to take care of the front. Oh well, it wasn't a big deal-- just not ideal. A tip if you're getting this done is you should wipe some alcohol on your upper lip every night to avoid little bumps or redness. ---All around good place, just not too high on customer service. And I've noticed the bedding area is not always very clean or has any place to leave your purse or jacket while you get something done.

She scraped the old shellac with so much force it was painful and she also ripped off half a nail, which is now damaged and sore. She also cut two of my cuticles, one of which is still very painful and red. Her shellac application was pretty messy and she filed my nails at odd angles. I regret leaving a tip because I feel like I rewarded her. I would avoid this place, or at least make sure you don't book with Mary.

I got mediocre service but it was the only place I knew. The last time I went I got a pedicure and the lady used those foot scrappers. The scapper was clearly broken but she kept attempting to use it on me. Then it cut a big junk of skin out of my heel and I started to bleed everywhere. They did not have proper first aid supplies to bandage me up. And only God knows if and how they sterilized that tool afterwards. Also it was my birthday the next day and I had a part To make matters even worse, when I went to pay the lady knowing fully well what had happen tried to charge me full price. Located in a busy strip mall, I was surprised to find that this spot was not swimming with customers today. I've stopped by before, but never had any luck with timing. Today was my day! In desperate need of a Spring Cleaning, I took a chance and snagged a walk in appointment. Quick and easy- a shellac mani and pedi, with a built in massage chair, really took the edge off. My only regret is not asking for my esthetician's name, as she was super helpful with my inability to pick a great spring colour. I picked a nice periwinkle, in case you were wondering. Now, the price was a little steep. For the shellac mani/pedi after tax I was looking at about $75. It's not cheap, but for me- I will always be willing to pay a bit more if it means I'm getting great service. I didn't feel rushed, the selection of colours they had was great, and I felt truly relaxed the whole time. I may not be able to afford this on the regular, but I will certainly be back when I'm ready to give myself another little treat.

Stylist didn't bother to set a timer and the toner ended up darkening my hair to the point where the highlights weren't even visible. Don't recommend this stylist she was rough and unprofessional. Hair is fried and not an inch of blonde is visible.
