Good food, great service, recommend when in Anna! We tried the tamales with chili con carne, shrimp cocktail, carnitas tacos and shrimp in garlic sauce. Rice and beans as sides too. All were very tasty and fresh. We also enjoyed micheladas and those were refreshing. They could use a bit more citrus, but we were pleasantly surprised by the chamoy and salt rim. I would prefer tajin over salt, so I'll ask next time. We just moved to the area, so we will be back again! read more

I had such high hopes....... But this really was not even average. Not sure what happened because they have good reviews. Everything was VERY bland, cold and just not tasty at all. The chips and salsa were decent but that's about it. The fajita meat was flavorless and the steak in particular was low quality. Onions and peppers- undercooked. Refried beans- absolutely gross. Worst of all, the restaurant was empty when I arrived to pick up and yet neither employee greeted me or even looked up from their conversation for a few minutes. Anyway...... maybe just an off day but there's way too many similar restaurants for me to bother trying again. read more

This is by far the best Tex-Mex food in Anna, TX, and, to me, the other places don't even compare. If you haven't been to this place, give it a shot. The staff was friendly and the food was good, which is always a great combination. I'll be back!!! read more

Called in an order for fajitas for 10 people and set up a pick up time. My husband picked it up and all was ready and in foil pans for group serving. Food was hot and delicious and plenty to feed everyone and even had leftovers! A little pricey which is the only mark down on rating. Of course everything is expensive nowadays. read more

Rushed by the waiter because we were ordering a few minutes before happy hour ended. I ordered a 3 taco combination with beans and rice. The taco shells looked and tasted like they were warmed up in a microwave. Nothing but ground beef! Not even cheese. And the drinks were definitely not worth the price. It's unfortunate, because Anna, TX is growing so much and we are in need of great food establishments that offer great quality food and service to their community. Don't give up on Mexican food! Excellent homemade Tex Mex. Enchilada special on Monday night. Everything is homemade! Delicious cheese enchiladas with ranchero sauce and cheese enchiladas with homemade chili sauce. Even the beans are homemade. We were seated promptly with attentive service by Caesar. Simple decorations and a nice bar. Quiet enough to hear yourself think and listen to conversation. Everything freshly prepared (except tortillas--which were not bad, just nothing special). Ordered couple things from the breakfast menu, and a relleno--which I didn't see on the menu, but they made it anyway, no hesitation "Sure, OK." Salsa's good as others also mentioned, would prefer spicier, but still good. Courteous service. Maybe just a bit expensive?? Like $1-2 more per entree than expected? Maybe because I ordered off menu? Went for lunch with friends. They'd all been before and said how good it was. The menu had lunch specials and we all got those. They thoroughly enjoyed theirs; me not so much. Really like the food here. They are fast and generous with the portion sizes. The owner is very sweet. My favorite is the #12 special and the chimichanga is really good too. I just cant find it in my heart to go over one star. . I ordered fajitas , the chicken looked like it was boiled , and still pink. The steak taste like it had been frozen for a year , and only flavor added was salt. The veggies had a very unappealing look to them. It was only 2 bell pepper pieces for $18 fajitas, but anyway the peppers look and taste like they sat on the counter all night. Service was great. Food was horrible. I ordered fajita nachos, half chicken & beef. The beef was in square chunks? I couldnt eat it because I wasn't sure it was really beef.
