So why does it vary in look, texture and taste, from one restaurant to another. Poor, cheap chicken is the order of the day. The meat is often wet, excessively fatty and grey and black in colour. The staff ( not all) seem to have a switched off attitude towards the customer, at our local KFC the staff told me that i could not have a fillet burger because they had stopped cooking them, over an hour before closing time. I am under the assumption that KFC do not monitor the oulets and care not for quality controle. Management at certain KFC franchise restaurants are giving KFC a bad name. All round a very poor show. We have decided not to use KFC any more.

The naan breads are a little sweet, fluffy and delicious, so the kids love them and the samosas are delicate and crispy too. They are quite generous with the salads and mint sauce they supply and have often given the kids lollies as treats. The location seems pretty modern towards the back of the store (ordering and pick-up area), however, the rest of the store (seating area onwards) seemed poorly kept and dirty, even by McDonald's standard. I ordered a Millionaire's Latte via the ordering app, there was some confusion with my order as it appeared to come up as ready on the big-screen before they had even finished it, the espresso quality was really watery and it was tasteless, to make matters worse it wasn't even that hot, other than a blob of squashed chocolate-scented cream, it just tasted like hot water. The staff also seemed rushed, even though the store wasn't too busy and they had maybe 3 or 4 other orders at the same time, which shouldn't be a problem for a large store with more staff members working than that (If it had to be done, each staff member could have done an order each with ease). There was no menu in the window (not surprising) and if there had been I'd never have set foot in there. However by the time I'd got the counter it was too late so I opted for a Chicken Royale (on it's own - no fries please). Admittedly it was very tasty and freshly made but it was never worth £3.19. I could have got something much nicer for much less elsewhere if I'd known.
