Such great service! She showed me a great ready to go selection in the back and knew her stuff about which flowers would last the longest.

I decided to order with Timp Valley Floral because although there were only two previous reviews, both were 5 stars and some of the other reviews for local florists were downright scary! I ordered the Sweetest Roses bouquet which start at $178.95. I opted for the premium version which bumped it up to $238.95 which is a significant amount in comparison to most of their other bouquets. The picture on the website did not change when you made the selection from Standard, to Deluxe to Premium which was obviously concerning so I made sure to call and order over the phone. I was very clear to the rep that because the cost is significant, I am hoping that the arrangement is much more grand. It delivered on a Friday and although it is a nice bouquet, it is certainly not what I would have expected for over $260.00. I have attached a picture of the standard version as advertised, what was received which is clearly a different product and how they look today, one week later... mostly all dead. When I spoke to Judy she said a week is actually a good amount of time for them to last. I know they don't last forever but they weren't fresh and starting dying within a couple of days. By the way my kids also got their mom a 15 dollar bouquet of daisies, all of which are still alive and look great... When I called today I expressed that a partial (not full) refund is warranted as I would have easily paid $160 for that bouquet. Per Judy, because I was out of the 72 hour guaranty window, they can only offer a $15 discount which frankly doesn't even cover the sales tax. I should mention that this 72 hour window was not disclosed on the delivery email nor is it shown on their "Our Guarantee" section on their site, snapshot also included. I feel Management could have handled this better. Pretty disappointing.

Lizy Bowden Floral Design - Centerpiece florals at my wedding

My wedding was this past August, and we met with her in person in March to see sample floral arrangements. The samples that she showed us looked great (see attached photo). About a month after the meeting, we got our first quote from her. It was higher than we anticipated, but after some back and forth, we were able to lower the price by repurposing some of the ceremony floral to be used at the reception. We were told that this would not sacrifice the quality of the florals used nor would it affect the quantity of florals in the center pieces at the reception. I wanted to donate our florals to a local nursing home after the wedding so that these expensive florals would not go to waste, and Lizy helped facilitate this for a small extra fee. Once the wedding got closer, we came across a bump in the road where we had to switch ceremony locations only a week prior to our wedding. Luckily, we were able to find a suitable alternative, and Lizy was able to visit the new location prior to the wedding which was really helpful. However, only after she visited the site were we made aware that we'd have to pay $150 for that site visit. On the day of the wedding, when we saw the florals, we were somewhat disappointed. The florals were much less voluptuous than those that we had been presented with during our in-person meeting (see attached photo). The density of florals were less, and certain aspects that we had particularly liked (e.g., the berries) were not present. Additionally, we had specifically asked to not have any of the greenery be aspen leaves (which was respected in the in-person sample we saw in March) and were disappointed to have the bouquets filled with aspen/apsen-like leaves. Also, the bouquets started falling apart and required frequent readjustments as flowers started breaking off of the bouquets. This in part was probably due to the heat, but a little frustrating to deal with during pictures and when walking down the aisle. However, we really did love the ceremony floral - we had aisle floral as well as floral on our chupa which looked really great. As far as I'm aware, all of the floral arrived on time and there were no difficulties with delivery and/or set up. All in all, the florals that we had were really pretty, though they did not meet our expectations based on our in-person meeting and the high price we paid for the florals. There was certainly nothing subpar about the floral itself, and if we had paid a few thousand less I'd say the service we received would have matched with the value of the product. However, given the price we paid, I expected higher standards regarding accountability and accuracy.

We felt Lizy was careful to listen to our vision and help us create it.
