I've bought all my pairs of Mephisto sandals from this joint. They always have a variety of sizes and colours of this brand, which I like. For the regular heels, I find it to be a hit or miss here. Today I bought extremely cute black all day heels, but I've come in on a few occasions when they've had no cute/nice shoes. There seem to be four main employees. The African-Canadian woman (I have no idea what her name is) is extremely helpful and pleasant. The others are either spaced out or have somewhat of an attitude problem. Ron White has his own brand of shoes, and at around $350-$400 a pair at minimum, you are paying for shoes that you can practically be running in because they are so ergonomical. But, the style's are just plain. Ron White carries brands that are the antithesis of Louboutin and Brian Atwood. Glamour and sexy vs. Practicality. Look at me drool vs. aww aren't those cute. Get the picture? I have only been to the Ron White location in Bayview Village, and when MBT's first came out many years ago, this store was one of the first to carry the brand. I bought the first MBT's that ever came out (the red one's that looked like Krusty the Clown's shoes) and I wore it everywhere because I wanted toned calves like the Massai. Now, I hardly go in because if I had a choice to spend $600 on shoes that made me look hot vs. shoes that made me look square...well, the choice is clear to me. Having said that, this store is constantly busy with older clientele. The brands such as Frye and Thierry Rabotin are really good brands, and the later is a shoe that is Made in France. So, while this store might not cater to me now, I know where I can go in 30 years.

Ron White positions itself somewhere between fashion and function. Once upon a time, the store seemed to specialize in Mephistos; a clunky rubber-soled shoe that retailed for $300-$400. Pricey, but comfy as hell. A bit of a niche market, though perhaps well-suited to the older crowd that graces the mall. In recent years, they've expanded their product line to include more trendy brands, like Frye and Cole Haan. They've also ramped up production of their private label, which oddly, given their comfort-based pedigree, is stiff and pinchy.. Limited stock and a more limited ordering policy make it tough to find the right fit, although salespeople are firendly and efficient. If they have what you're looking for, it's a perfectly fine store...there's just other places down the hall that do the same thing better.

Two weeks later still no shoes. Calls inquiring as to shoe's whereabouts and delivery time, a couple of times, generated abrupt 'will check into it and get back' responses, all with no callback. My last call, requesting a conversation with the manager, received a return voice mail message saying the shoes were in. The service in this store sucks. My advice is to go into this store and choose the shoes you want then go online and buy them. You'll get them cheaper, quicker and with much less frustration.

There's something for everyone and plenty to see and do, and I appreciate the renovations that have been done over the years. Bayview Village is known for some great restaurants and shops. In fact, there are many different options from upscale and casual restaurants to coffee and grocery stores. I took in two pairs of…read moreBlundstone's (a winter pair and a regular pair) that had uppers in good shape but on which the heels and soles were very worn and which I had basically retired. Plus I took in a pair of R.M. Willams Craftsman Boots for a more traditional heel and sole repair. Nick's resoled the Blundstone's with Vibram soles, including a chunky, seriously treaded winter set and the boots are now probably better than when I bought them. The R. M. Williams ones also look great. They can't perform absolute miracles, of course, so if you have small cuts in the leather they are permanent (though usually disguisable with a bit of polish or wax) but a bit of use is to be expected in a boot. P.S., I have no idea why my profile says San Francisco, as I live in Toronto and have never even been to that part of California.

They do beautiful work. Not fast, and not cheap, but beautiful. I had them resole my Blundstones…read more(which, after more than 10 years, had cracked right through both soles); they put on a new, stitched Vibram sole, which I hope will last the rest of my life! They also polished and waterproofed them beautifully.

This shopping centre is located at the north-east corner of Don Mills Rd and Finch Ave E. It's a…read moreplaza on the small side but packed with a surprising amount of retail stores, restaurants and professional offices, 27 businesses in total. Some of the businesses include Service Ontario, Skymark Shoe Repair, One's Better Living, TD Canada Trust, Royal Bank of Canada, Pho Vietnamese Delight, and Skymark Eye Clinic. The anchor stores are No Frills and Rexall on either end. Even though they're not officially part of the plaza there's a Mr. Lube and an Esso gas station right at the intersection. The parking lot is a fair size but it can fill up rather quickly. There are accessible parking spots close to the stores. I would not recommend parking and leaving the property. Management keeps a close eye on people that do and makes good use of a towing company. I've been told many students from Seneca College used to park here and then go to their classes.

Had my car towed and fined $325 because I walked around the plaza while waiting for service Ontario…read morebecause a stupid sign said I can't wait outside. Management said they tracked me walking around. Literally told me everywhere I walked but apparently cause I crossed the street (since they don't have a sidewalk on their side of the property) I left their property (I literally circled around No frills and they immediately called the tow company. Came out of service Ontario to the tow picking up my car, the truck didn't even leave the parking lot and the fine is $325 + tax. Utterly ridiculous! Hate how 1 star is the lowest you can give. Better to just ignore sevice Ontario's sign and loiter in front of their entrance instead. Beats getting your car towed. They also told me this was like the 17th time they already had a car towed this week (today is Friday), seems like they're just scamming people

Wow, this shoe company location is big! It opened earlier in August & the sections for women, men &…read morekids is pretty large. Since this is a new location everything is new, bright & shiny. The bag section for women is kinda small though. That was disappointing for me. They also have a lids section (hats) & clearance shoes are at the back. I came in just to look around & to look for a fashion backpack. They have some nice bags for women but not what I was looking for. Oh well. I'm sure I'll come back to this location to buy shoes as it's more convenient for me than going to other locations. As for staff I only saw a few sales clerks walking around. One was at cash & the other was walking by me. Glad to see this store in Sheppard center. It's right at Sheppard subway station so a very convenient place to stop.
