I can't say enough good things about Master Mechanic here in Brampton. This family-owned garage,…read morerun by two brothers, really stands out as unique. Over the years, they've helped both me and my husband with everything from small fixes to major repairs -- always with kindness, honesty, and integrity. The owners are fantastic, and their whole team is just as wonderful. They've come through for me many times when I needed quick assistance, and their service has always been fast, fair-priced, and trustworthy. If you're looking for a reliable mechanic in the Brampton area, (7890 Hurontario Street) I highly recommend giving Master Mechanic a try. You won't find anyone better. Five stars all the way!

This place is a shop behind an independent gas station. Not far from the Brampton Court houses…read more These guys have earned my trust that they are honest mechanics. I went when the seal on my tire broke. It cost me $40. The guys are all pretty friendly too. When I had any questions the guys actually showed me what was going on. They showed me proof of problems. This way I know they're not trying to trick me. Like typical mechanics if anything is wrong with your car, they alert you ahead of time. One thing I like is that they dont pressure you or try to shame you too hard if you dont fix what they suggest. They'll try a little like "so you're just going to drive your car like that?" and " so when do you think you're going to get this done?" One time my oil was low and leaking, and instead of simply offering to top it up, they tried to sell me an oil change which I didnt really appreciate. Ps I'm a woman and I'm surprised they didn't try to take advantage of me like other mechanics do. I recommend this place.

After running circles at their shop multiples times they made me go to another auto shop to get it checked, since it's a 2020 car and they didn't even have the equipment to check my car. End of the day they told me I'm on my own, and should get my car fixed from somewhere else. Even refused to refund me the tire swap money for the botched job. You are better off fixing the car on your own driveway than going to this horse-shit place. How do you mess up a tire change on a new car? Only if I could give this place zero stars. DO NOT ever go to this place ever !!I

If you want to pay a 'mechanic' to wreck your car, this is the place! They charged $200 to replace three wheel studs and swap the tire. Shortly after I drove away the car started shaking violently - it felt like the wheel was going to fall off. I brought it back. They told me the parking shoe was rusted and had to be replaced. It took them four hours to do it. When I left, I confirmed with him that the car was now safe to drive - since I'd be going on the highway. He told me it was fine. For some reason unknown to me, they also replaced the brake pad (but only on one side of the car). Shortly after I started driving home the wheel started making a grinding noise. I made an appointment with a different highly rated mechanic, since it was clear that these people had absolutely no idea what they were doing. The original work hadn't been done correctly. The grinding noise was the parking shoe expanding due to heat, and the rotor was also rubbing against the backing plate. The parking shoe had to be replaced. The brake pad was installed incorrectly. A spring was bent. The adjuster assembly was worn down, and I'm told that if I'd drove a long distance like this, it would have started to smoke and potentially would have seized the wheel up. For some reason they took a torch to my backing plate (which I saw while I was there) but the second mechanic had no idea why they would have done this. That had to be replaced as well. In total it cost $600 to fix the damage that M Johal caused. Add that to the $200 they charged me to wreck my car, and this turned out to be the most expensive tire changeover I've ever had. As an essential worker I need my vehicle and this was a huge headache to have to deal with given the current situation. Masks were also not being worn in the small waiting room area so I waited outside for the duration of all of the work (five hours). I would never take any vehicle here - unless you want to leave with it in worse condition than when you arrived.
