Ate here for the first time. We ordered the Tony's Bow Tie pasta, Pepperoni Artisan pizza, Melted Raclette, Palo Alto Dip, Crispy Brussels, Escargot, Citrus Chicken, and the Beef Bourguignon. Nothing special with the escargot, but it was still delicious. The crispy brussel sprouts were good, but the balsamic glaze through my family off lol, but I still loved it. Nothing special about the pepperoni pizza at all. The melted Raclette was really fancy and delicious. They came out with melted cheese and scraped it onto our bread and prosciutto. Palo Alto dip was weird, but pretty good too. I don't think I've ever eaten anything like that. The bow tie pasta was ok. The Citrus Chicken and Beef Bourguigon were very tasty and flavorful. Overall, a bit pricey, but the food portions were generous and the quality on some of these dishes were worth it. The staff here were fast and friendly. Lots of tables to dine at to include outside in a tent, buuut it's summer so indoor sounds better lol. Lots of parking as well. read more

We have driven past this place so many times over the past couple of years of years and we finally decided to try it today; it did not disappoint! Really cute but small inside, had a reservation and sat down immediately. Our server Addi was one of the kindest and intentional servers we have ever had, she did a fantastic job. The staff as a whole was just really kind and good at what they do. The food was hot and fresh, can't go wrong with anything on the menu. There are a few things I almost always order when I see it on the menu. Escargot and Raclette fall into this category. After reviewing the menu I ordered both. At this time I was told they were out of the Raclette. Couple misses based on what I was observing, server should introduce or greet the table and not go straight to taking an order. Let your guest know what you are out of before they order it. I think our server was new and nervous so I won't hold it to our server. Overall food was okay. Not what we had hoped for. Onion soup okay, escargot good, Caesar side basic (but as expected). Duck Confit was a miss for me. I was looking for texture and flavor balance but couldn't really get it going on the plate. Update on the lunch menu. I previously gushed over the French Dip sandwich but I'm sorry to say it's changed for the worse. The meat is tender but obviously a cheaper cut, overcooked, less seasoned, less of it and the jus was really lame. It's now mostly bread and melted cheese. Honestly, this recent dip was no better than BJs or similar mediocre offerings. I'm hugely disappointed. On the positive side, the service is still excellent and the venue is very attractive. The French Onion Soup is still good, as well, and worth a trip just for that. The chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich is also terrific, and the side salad is very tasty. Good fries, too. read more

We just popped in spontaneously the morning after a wedding, which also happened to be graduation weekend. They were PACKED but happy to seat us at the bar. Food and coffee was amazing, we will drive back up there from Cypress just to eat breakfast I'm sure! The bartenders/ baristas were so wonderful to us, even though they were so busy. That's on me I'm sure as my eyes driving up told me a story of strip shopping with low quality - a bank, fast food joints, etc lined the street. Before going here I went to their website and signed up for the bistro club. They emailed me a $10 off coupon for signing up. This location is near Costco. I was impressed with the ambiance, it was like a little French bistro inside. Really cute. My server was attentive and immediately brought me water and I noticed on the drink menu, in the back, it said Monday - All Day $10 pizza. I asked her if that was legitimate and she looked at it and said "yes, if it says it there, then yes". So I changed what I was planning to order and got the Mush & Spin pizza, no mushroom. I know that's odd, but I don't like mushrooms but I liked everything else featured on the pizza. I also ordered the Rum Tarte Au Citron which is a dessert cocktail. When that came out and I tasted it, I was in custard heaven. It's a bit thick and creamy and tastes like lemon custard. It was soooo good. I took a picture. My pizza came out about 10 minutes later. At first I thought it was burnt, but then I realized it was just the Brussel sprouts that were dark and crispy, which I enjoy. This pizza was soooo good, it had spinach, caramelized onion, whipped ricotta, mozzarella, and fried brussels sprout leaves garnished with white truffle oil. The food and drinks at this bistro are a 5 out of 5. The only reason I took away a star is because there was a mix up with my check and it took like 20 minutes between when I was finished eating and when I was able to pay and leave. The check didn't have the pizza special price of $10 nor my $10 coupon discount, which would have effectively made the pizza free. The manager did sort it out and I only had to pay for the drink. I would say if you use these specials, let the waitress know ahead of time, which I failed to do, so this is partially my fault. Sunday brunch is amazing! While we love Napa Flats and I've been there many times for weekday lunches and dinners, we have never had dinner at Napa Flats bistro, but we love the place and go there often for Sunday brunch. It's small, it's quaint, feels old world in a clean fresh way. We have gone there after church at least a dozen times and have never been disappointed. The service is exceptional and so is the food, especially their quiche! And the best part is the prices are very reasonable--less than you would expect. Our bill is rarely over $50, and for an upscale experience, that is very affordable. We've been working our way through the menu, the quiche is phenomenal, as is the French Toast (cranberry and walnut bread dipped in crème brûlée toasted golden brown). The omelets are excellent as well! I also love eggs Benedict, but I'm not too crazy about their hollandaise sauce, probably because I'm used to the more salty stuff I make at home from a package, I'm sure their's is a lot more authentic. Today I had the salmon platter with a side of two fried eggs. It was a very generous serving, with the salmon sitting on top of a bed of arugula and two giant slices of tomato, with generous helpings of capers, boiled egg, minced shallots and whipped cream cheese, all nestled next to a beautiful and very large freshly baked croissant. So sad to be updating this review when just 2 months ago I couldn't get enough of this restaurant. Sadly, the ONLY French restaurant in BCS was bought out by another local restaurant- Napa Flats. And while I do enjoy Napa Flats on occasion, if I wanted their menu, I'd go to their restaurant. Very disappointed to see they merged the Napa menu with the original Le Petit Cochen. The veal I was singing praises over is now gone, along with other French dishes. Tonight my husband got the duck confit again and I tried the scallops. The dishes were good per se, but now knowing this is just going to be a chain of Napa, we will likely rarely return. Praying the sweet waitress I had the first 2 times is still there. She's worth her weight in gold in my eyes. Wish they would have left the menu alone if they must change the restaurant and allowed College Station to branch out a little. read more

Today I decided to indulge myself with a nice brunch, even though my normal companions were busy or out of town. I forgot that it's graduation weekend, which is known to fill up all the good restaurants in town! At 11:00am the place was packed & only my reservation saved me. I was super impressed with Lexi, my server, who did an outstanding job in a very stressful situation. Lexi, the hostess, & Tom, the owner all worked seamlessly to take care of me & a crowd of others - teamwork at its best! My Bloody Mary was wonderful, the mushroom Bisque was some of the best I've ever had, and the Crab Cakes Benedict were divine! Former French restaurant turned into Napa Flats Bistro. As Napa Flats is my favorite restaurant in college station I was so excited to try, but was disappointed eating here. If you want Napa Flats staples go to the original Napa Flats. The Palo Alto dip was salty and a small portion compared to the original. The pork chop was salty and the Brussels sprouts has no flavoring as they were fried. The prosciutto and arugula pizza was flimsy and cold. On the other hand the cocktails were delicious, so a great place to grab a drink, but would not recommend eating there! read more

This French restaurant in BCS exceeded my expectations for brunch. The restaurant is lovely and has a warm ambiance. I came here for a birthday brunch & definitely recommend. I had the Gratinée Lyonnaise (French Onion Soup) was tasty, well seasoned, and great for the winter season. Had the Pêches et Crêpes à la Crème (Peach Crepes) was smaller portion then I expected but super tasty. Lastly had the Crème Brûlée which had an authentic taste and was well flavored. My husband had the chef's special, red fish with étouffée and grits, while I had the mush 'n spin pizza with chicken added. The server, Alexis, was excellent and made our visit a pleasure. What a gem. Wonderful French cuisine in a very elegant decor with a French leitmotif. I had the Duck Confit with a demi-glaze. Delicious. My son had the salmon. He loved the ratatouille. I had a bite and the bearnaise sauce was exquisite. Not many do a good bearnaise. My wife had the bavette which was tender and scrumptious. I started with a cup of onion soup. I shared it with my family and we all agreed it was divine. But what made the evening so memorable was our server, Addie. She was so attentive and we had a wonderful conversation over dinner.
