These guys totally stepped up and made me feel SO safe and at home here. The kindest gentleman and young woman behind the counter listened to my long winded story and totally sympathized with me and got me EXACTLY what I needed to feel my best again. I am so so grateful for kind people like this especially in an industry where some people are just after the sales or don't take the time to actually LISTEN to people. The pharmacy is pretty tiny but it's right next to the Garratt Lane medical centre too which makes it super handy. They sell all the usual things here and the staff are particularly nice at this little pharmacy - I always find the staff a little dull / brain dead in these places but they're particularly cheerful here. The owners are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and will go out of their way to handle all sorts of requests. I am a frequent customer and have never had a negative or even neutral experience with them and always leave smiling to myself. The only real drawback is that like many businesses in the area, they're closed on weekends.

I feel that a lot of this is due to the same staff have been working here for a number of years, which gives me a feeling of comfort when I visit. All of the regular pharmacy supplies and prescription services are available here. From from fragrances to hair colour to electric toothbrushes to prescriptions. They always know their stuff here, and are eager to advise with any medicines that they provide or recommend. I really do like the fact that this place still has the same look and attitude that it had many, many years ago. It is definitely an old-fashioned type chemist. It is not to say that everything here is entirely nostalgic, they do embrace many progressive and forward thinking remedies. I do love it here and hope that they continue to trade well in the face of strong competition from chains that inhabit the high street. The only thing that I can say that I have against Vineyard Pharmacy is that some of the prices are a little high on certain items. Other than that... all great!

They have a wide range of products on display and the staff has knowledge of most of them. The products are also slightly cheaper than other chemists in the area and the chemist also offers many alternatives if you cannot find what you are after. Another big advantage of this chemist is that they accept card payment so you don't have to walk down the king street to the bank to withdraw cash. Overall I think this chemist is one of the best in the local area and it will be for a while.
