I strongly disagree with this range's criticism for being extra cautious regarding shooters' safety. To me, it's common sense, not conservatism. Yes, there are ranges much more adapted for learning basic shooting and gun handling techniques. Such places, more often than not, would not be equipped with so many facilities for all kinds of shooting activities, as Nashua F&G is. Impossible to be everything for everybody, since there are so many often mutually exclusive requirements involved. The place is clean, well-kept, and carefully managed. Simply put, better clubs exist. This club has rules that go against learning the fundamentals of gun ownership. A gun club banning drawing from a holster is insane to me as it is a necessary skill. The club has range rules and test requirements that go far beyond what is standard. Club politics seem to favor more old school members. read more

This place a ran down indoor range is from 1950 with air system to match. More money is spent on wood to box in the shooting stations on the rifle range seeing they are worried about a round leaving. Have a IDPA style range only open when they hold there matches, pistol only seeing they don't build the back stops up. Zero ability to do any real training CCTV camera on ranges. Waste land have a 600yd range that's hardly used. If u like to just shoot paper and have somone watching over ur shoulder this is the range for u. Join Pelham fish and game have multi IDPA bays zero issue with u training long as ur safe. read more

Overpriced good 'ol boys club. Egotistical trustees who are excited to 'be in charge' watch your every move and will constantly correct every 'perceived' mistake. Instead, go to Granite State Indoor Range and Gun Shop in Hudson, NH and enjoy yourself - no monthly meetings or club politics to deal with - just pay and shoot. read more
