This 3-star rating is too much, maybe 2 -star. The rooms are very simple, no TV, no hot water, only one bed sheet for covering up. Our room has a mil dewy smell to it, The cabin that we had has a great view of the beach and a balcony. We did not use the pool. The restaurant serves beer but no wine or hard liquor. The power went out which limited the restaurants capabilities (no brewed coffee ). We cut our stay from two nights to just one night. read more

Pros: Firstly, the beach is gorgeous! The sand is powdery off-white, comparable to that of Boracay's. The resort has stand-alone native cottages and also hotel-style rooms. The cottage we stayed at was spacious for 8 people and had a decent-sized bathroom. It also has a gorgeous patio overlooking the sea. There is a restaurant with a beautiful view. There is a pool and a pool bar. They accept most credit cards. The resort is accessible to vehicles. It is about 10 kms from the city of Sipalay. The resort has a parking lot for private vehicles. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Cons: The cottages need to be maintained. The lock in one of our rooms is broken. The refrigerator does not close completely. The food is okay. The restaurant serves Filipino food mostly but I think it could be better. The resort charges corkage fee for food and drinks brought from outside. The pool bar is closed (I was told it will be closed the entire weekend). There is a bar in the restaurant but they didn't have much liquor except for beer and Jim Beam. They said they ran out of alcohol since last week. I thought they should restock on their liquor. Overall, I'd recommend this place. I just feel that if they want to attract and keep tourists, they should strive to be consistent in their operations and deliver world-class service whether or not it's peak season. read more
