Found this little gem on Yelp. Listed as number one. It's a funky little place with great ambiance. Half is set up as a little coffee shop with a great selection on self serve coffee. If you want the fancy coffees, like lattes and macchiatos, you have to order them. The lady behind the counter gave us two menus and told us to sit anywhere. The tables are spread out due to COVID. We found a little round table in the corner next to all the Christmas decorations. Cute! I ordered the Lox and Bagel and my SO ordered the Toad in the Hole (which is toast with an egg fried in it). Mine was just generic. Good, but nothing special. 3 star. The Toad in the Hole was yummy. It was made with their own homemade yeast bread and it was so good!! Definitely 5 stars! I also ordered a chai latte and it was really good. Overall I'll give this place 4 star. The waitress was really sweet and the food came out fast. Definitely worth another visit. I'll just skip the lox and bagel next time. :)

Friendly service, great coffee & espresso drinks, yummy pastries, and tasty food. I was in Natchez for the birth of my granddaughter and after sleeping at the hospital and trying their god-awful coffee from the cafeteria and machine, I knew I needed a good cuppa. Searched and found this lovely place and super thankful! I ended up going back 2 more times in the week I was there, and my mocha was always wonderful! Whenever I come back to Natchez I know where I'm getting my coffee.

First time in for lunch (had breakfast here twice before). Very good! Soup of the day was sausage minestrone which I hesitated to try, but was glad I did. Served hot, and full of tasty crumbled sausage, pasta, and tomatoes. Cup size portion as part of a soup and 1/2 salad combo. California Garden salad was loaded with fruit, pecans, and cheese on a bed of green, but needed something - maybe dressing? (Perhaps forgotten? Or only on request) A delicious sweet corn muffin was included- like cake, as my dessert. Companion enjoyed a Reuben sandwich with in-house made tortilla chips. We enjoyed every bite. I used to think of Natchez Coffee as just a breakfast spot, but now I know better! Service was fine.

This is the cutest little coffee shop/restaurant I've run across in a very long time. So much southern charm and great coffee. So my disclaimer is that I didn't have breakfast only coffee, Jamaican me crazy and pound cake and both were amazing. I am wishing they weren't so far away. Service was A1 from the time I walked in from the time I walked out. I even got the opportunity to pay it forward while I was in the restaurant. Loved the atmosphere and the decor. If ever back in Natchez I will be stopping in to eat. They have a full breakfast and lunch menu and a buffet on Saturdays. They offered a full coffee menu with mochas and all. If you are in the area stop by and have an amazing cup of coffee and a piece of cake.

Quaint little cafe! Coffee was good!! They even had Jamaica Me Crazy flavored coffee, as well as several others! They have a coffee menu and a self-serve coffee bar depending on what you're in the mood for! Breakfast buffet looked great! My family enjoyed it! I had the Cowboy grits and they were phenomenal!! Will do breakfast again next time I'm in Natchez!

Yelp reviews brought me here, and I'm glad they did. Seemed like the entire town of Natchez came in right after we did too! Half my family hit up the breakfast buffet while the other half tried some pastries. They also have plate foods, so next time we're in Natchez, we'll try something different. Also, I'll have to return to try the yeast bread as we managed to miss it this time. Overall, the interior is super cute. Lots of art and special touch details. Service honestly could have been better, but I think that was due to the massive crowd that came in after we did. We were greeted, seated, and brought our drinks timely. Then, we didn't really see our server anymore. I went to buy pastries with my oldest (in the other side) and saw our server in that area. Later, we were ready to pay our bill, but she never came back to the side where we were. No worries at all though. I went to the cash register side where the pastries are and waited in the line of patrons. Luckily, the lady (who I questioned my have been the owner), asked if anyone just needed to pay their bill. Glad she asked because I was able to pay and go on our way. Overall, delicious food and drinks, definitely recommend checking out when in the Natchez area.

I Googled and found "Butter Cakery". We all agreed to sprint there since they closed in 15 minutes. We had no idea what to expect, then we opened the door. We were instantly transported to a corner of Paris in Natchez. The artwork, the marble, everything feels so Oui Paris. Come along. You're going with me!! The case of baked items had me drooling on the glass. The cupcakes were calling my name. Coconut. Belgian chocolate. Vanilla. All baked in paper cups and begging me to try them all. It was so hard to decide. I see a beautiful domed cake plate with the most gorgeous Belgian chocolate chip cookies. I must get one of those too. The macarons are stunning; like something in a magazine. I make my selections. She is boxing up my items in the cutest boxes and I'm giddy with excitement. I'm very proud of myself and at this point and happy with my Google find. I sat down and took one bite of that coconut cupcake. When I tell you that I floated off of my seat, I am not kidding. The crumb of the cupcake was perfection, that crème filling was heaven and the frosting was sheer delight. The balance of coconut flavor could not have been better! My aunt had a lemon cookie with creme cheese frosting and a lemon curd. So delicious! Lemon curd with the perfect tanginess (is that word? I just made it one!) and it didn't have any trace of egg taste. I tried the Belgian chocolate chip cookie and lavender cookie and got another cupcake to consume tonight and tomorrow. Everything was just that amazing. We can't wait to finish the rest later today and tomorrow morning. Listen folks, you are missing out if you don't try this place. Butter Cakery is a hidden gem but let's not keep it hidden. Everyone should enjoy this level of baking skills. Everything is baked there and you can tell with each bite. We chatted with the owner while we consumed our goods. She is absolutely delightful. We all left feeling happier than we did when we went in.
