We stopped by while doing some antiquing. We've been to Natchez a number of times, but have never stopped in here. I wanted some coffee so we stopped by for a few minutes. It's much larger inside than I anticipated. They also serve food, which was a surprise. I didn't get a look at the menu because we were just there for coffee, though it smelled delicious, and their pastries, etc., looked awesome. The coffee was good, though not really anything different than I could find at home. If you're on a hunt for a frappucinno? This "ain't" the place. But if you just want a cup of Community Coffee? I came to Natchez with my husband for his work and I needed a place to get some work done that wasn't the hotel room. Found this great place online. Coffee is great BUT the thing you absolutely have to have is the homemade yeast bread! Just had breakfast here while doing some remote work and the yeast bread toast is to die for!! What a gem this place was. On the road back to New Orleans, we stopped here for breakfast. I really wanted coffee and this place was positively charming. The barista was the only person working when we arrived. She told us to choose our seats and asked if we wanted to order drinks before we sat. As our server/barista brought out drinks, she then took our order. I had a breakfast stand it was tasty with their house made berry butter. It was a quick stop, since we were on the road. Tucked behind a "Main Street America" downtown storefront is a wonderful little coffee shop. Wood floors, tables, and chairs and a long counter gives this place a homey feel, like an old malt shop or candy store from the 50's or 60's. They have a hot breakfast menu, muffins, sandwiches, soup, and cold drinks in addition to the various coffee options. Coffee was great and served in a big mug. I would have to order at least a medium size at Starbucks to get the amount of coffee I got here for a couple bucks. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but this place was just too perfect not to drop in and soak up the atmosphere.
