The library is clean, spacious, modern, and has a wide selection of books and educational materials. Staff is courteous and knowledgeable.

First of all, whenever I paid of the books that I lost they still would not let me check out books even when I paid for it. Don't like the place, would rather buy books from Walmart read more

I used this locale because I had to meet a client in Natchitoches and needed someplace with conference rooms. This place fit the bill and the staff was friendly and helpful... This is the limited amount of contact I've had but if I'm ever back in Natchitoches and needing a quick meeting place with a client then I will definitely be heading here. read more

They have an extensive collection on pretty much any topic you'd enjoy, but they don't have every author out there. I was looking for some Drew Karpyshyn and found nothing. SAD FACE. I suppose it is, however, rather unfair to expect a local library to possess a work from literally evey author known to man. Also, I have never seen a more extensive DVD collection in any library. They have so many television shows, it's almost unreal! The staff is very friendly and very open to any questions you have. You never have to wait long for someone to help you at the Information desk. They also host fun events for the community like fall carnivals! I even went to a Doctor Who party there once and the room was packed! Good to see we have a large Whovian population! Check this place out and get your card TODAY!

LOCALS ONLY! If you do not live in Natchitoches Parish, don't even consider visiting this library. If you need help, keep your requests to a minimum because the staff are easily irritated. I recommend you ask them questions by phone before visiting. This is not a friendly library. Do not spend more time there than you need to find what you are looking for. Be sure to ask the staff before you attempt to access their WIFI. My review will be removed because Natchitioches Parish Library has asked for all unfavorable reviews to be removed. read more

Your local library has more than you might think! Art, craft, and fitness classes for adults, teens, and children. There's Halloween costumes, portable Wi-Fis, laptops, audio books, movies, and more for checkout. Yelp has removed almost every review of this unfriendly library. If they have something you want, I recommend you get it by inter-library loan. If you need to speak with any of their staff, I recommend that you do it by telephone. I do not recommend visiting them, they are cranky and feel put upon whenever asked in person. Stay away! This is not a friendly library. read more

It's been several years since I last visited LA Baywatch still had an open set on Highway One but the memories of this beautiful library have stayed with me. In July its cool interior is very welcome! The collections of art and the displays don't forget to look UP!are amazing. read more
