Stopped in on a Sunday for brunch and were seated right away. We started with a pitcher of mimosas, which were pretty good but a bit orange juice heavy. I got the breakfast bowl and a side of biscuit and sausage gravy. The bowl was delicious! very flavorful. Great value as well. My friends got the French toast and the chicken and waffles. Both said the entrees were pretty good. The chicken was a little less crispy and tender than expected, but tasted good and the waffle was underwhelming compared to other chicken and waffles. We've been exploring restaurants in and around Milford the last few weeks & happened upon this place. Beautiful building with above average burgers. They run a monthly specialty burger for local charities getting $1 for every burger sold, which I thought was especially awesome. read more

Stopped in for lunch with my BFF as we planned to shop near by. We were greeted right away and menus provided as well as water. I will say the water isn't the best, but unless you are in Hamilton is your water good? We decided on the cheese curds and the Gyro Burger (burger of the month). That came with Saratoga chips. Our first visit was for our 6 month wedding anniversary! Made a reservation, it was on a Saturday night and they had live music, so that was nice! Server was friendly, informative, and let me test try a sample of the passionfruit cider before ordering! I liked that. I got the Temperance Burger and added an egg and then sweet potato tator tots. I had never seen those anywhere and they were so so good. Husband got the quesadilla burger but swapped out the tortilla wrap for an actual burger bun and added bacon. The only thing I didn't like- was that they don't have prices listed on their drinks. They had a drink menu and had the prices of the cocktails but not for drafts or soft drinks? We had a great time in here for lunch on a weekday. Service was stellar. Our waitress was very attentive and kind. She was always there to fill up my water when it was empty! Ambiance is super cute. They have these green and brown booths all over the restaurant and also some tables. A good amount of bar seating & some comfy lounge areas with games set up! Food was tasty! We started with the mini corn dogs which came with a sriracha ketchup and delicious honey mustard. Corn dogs did not taste like the freezer kind, it tasted like they made the breading fresh. My suggestion for the quesadilla burger would be to leave the queso out of the "inside" of the quesadilla wrap and just serve it as a sauce on the side for dipping. I felt that since it was inside it ended up just getting all messy and runny and I couldn't really taste the queso anymore. So serving it on the side would just make it awesome! I ended up having to get their sweet potato waffle fries since they were out of the tot version and I wasn't a huge fan. They were very crunch and not very "potato" filled. read more

It's a shame - such a great location. We sat outside which is lovely however: 1 Waited 5+ minutes to even be waited on. Ordered beers and wings. 2 waited another 5+ minutes for our beers 3 Waited another 10 minutes for our wings, which arrived cold. and were average, at best -rather small and kind of dry. Sauce was standard out-of-the-bottle sauce. 4 I got a BLT salad with absolutely ZERO bacon. I asked for blackened chicken "we don't do that". The plain chicken breast was exactly that - very plain. 5 My husband got a house salad with chicken. It was 97% lettuce including a big romaine core/stem. This review is for the Brunch. Our breakfast was good not great - there were a couple great things but a couple of lackluster things that brought overall opinion down. The gravy on the biscuits and gravy was nice and spicy (though one of our party felt it was too spicy!). The breakfast tacos were very good - maybe some of that spicy gravy would add a bit of flair too! French toast was good. Biscuits we're good. The bummers: the coffee was horribly weak, like hot water basically. The parfait was obviously premade - the granola in the bottom was soaked and of oatmeal consistency. First time here. Went for the bogo burgers on Facebook messenger. That is your basic cheeseburger. It consisted of 2 thin patties, cheese, lettice tomato, and red onions. It had a good flavor. We stopped in this evening at 8:40... wanting a quick meal after a few drinks elsewhere. It was not at all busy and the bar staff looked at us as if we were interrupting their night. I was in town, visiting a friend. It was a Sunday and we were hungry so we headed to downtown Milford. The Nation was one only a few places open and we decided to give it a try. The inside was fairly empty with only a few other customers eating. The room was well lit, clean and quiet. We were seated by Alex (not sure I'm spelling it correctly) and given menus. We ordered wine and looked at the menu. A lot of things looked good but were a bit bigger than what we wanted. Alex recommended "The Bit" which was the sandwich of the month and was a cheese burger. We decided to split the burger and a Caesar salad. The food came out fairly quickly. The salad came first in two separate bowls so we didn't have to divvy it up. Lots of croutons, the dressing was exactly right, coating the lettuce but not drowning it. Then the burger, with fries, also cut in half. The burger was delicious. Probably one the best burgers I've had in awhile. Alex kept checking back with us to ensure all was well. She was pleasant to talk to and upbeat. We ordered a gluten free burger and salad to go. When it came out, the burger was on a bun and the salad had croutons, Alex and the cook apologized, made it right and quickly. When visiting the area, I'll definitely go back to Nation Milford. The restaurant has an industrial style with a high exposed ceiling, brick walls, metal chairs, and wooden tables. There are a decent number of televisions scattered around the restaurant. I ordered the spicy black bean burger with sweet potato tots. Both food items had solid flavor but were nothing to write home about. I was hoping this place would be a little classier? Aren't cocktail bars supposed to be kind of classy? First impression when I walked in was the smell. Not a terrible smell, but a sweet old ketchup smell kind of like a high school cafeteria. Sort of set the tone for what followed. There was a wait for a table, so I got a cocktail. I was disappointed as it didn't come with cocktail ice; instead my drink had maybe 20 cubes of normal pillow shaped ice, which made my drink all watery. Cocktail ice would be a giant upgrade. Table was available quickly and we were seated in the well lit dining room. The menu is very casual and limited. There were some salads, wings, burgers, and tots. The food is served on metal trays, which made me think of prison. Our server was friendly and attentive, but smelled strongly of cigarettes. I love the investment in downtown Milford, the building is cool, and the space is kind of neat. I just wish it was a little nicer. But the place was jumping and busy, so what do I know? read more
