Not surprisingly, the only way that you can get to the motor museum is to drive (though I do believe that a bus does occassionally come up this way). This is one of those places that I have heard about since I was a kid but for some reason never managed to get up here to have a look around (probably because my Dad was never really all that interested in cars). Anyway the collection is massive - in fact there were more cars here than I have even seen in a used car lot. Unfortunately, with the exception of one car at the entrance, you cannot look inside them, or under the hood, but then again this isn't a used car dealership. However they do have a yearly event where they put some of the old cars on the road (I understand that they all actually run) and drive them from Glenelg all the way up to the musuem. I remember standing at the side of the road watching all the old cars cruise past. Okay, it probably isn't my thing, but it's still a great way to kill an afternoon. read more
