He utilized a variety of teaching methods including lecture, video, demonstration, hands on application, clinical scenarios with application of problem solving techniques. Not your average PALS class. As you can see he teaches many other classes and can offer a variety of certifications. I would definitely recommend certification or recertification with Pernice's Rescue Training and hope to return in the future.

Secondly, for the money I paid I didn't feel it was worth it. The course felt superrrrr rushed. I left not really feeling actually trained, rather just told what to do. I really didn't leave this course feeling any more confident than when I went in, which was a major bummer. I would say I don't know where all these awesome reviews are coming from however I do- they second you walk in they make you subscribe to their youtube and when you leave make you fill out a survey and really push leaving a google review. If your looking to take a rushed course in a closet where someone just tells you what to do, this is the course for you. However if you are looking to feel more confident and trained on your ability to perform cpr in high stress scenarios...i'd skip if I were you.

As long as you can make it up there and have gps, it's awesome. You'll get to meet people who have a similar profession to yours more than likely. Plus they had apple pie last time I went. The session flew and it was precisely the refresher I needed. If you have extra questions or need more practice, they'll be more than happy. It's always a good idea to update your skills. Hope you never need to use them, but it's better to know what you're doing in case you have to.

A lot of other places only offer night classes and loved how they had a weekend option! Would definitely recommend!
