Improve your trees! Quit putting pictures on your site that dont represent what the tree actually looks like! My new tree is incredibly sparse! The lights are placed only on the end of the branches which makes 'fluffing' the tree very difficult. Instead of stringing each branch from back to front and then front to back and on to the next branch the lights are strung to the next branch at the front of the tree. This makes for a frustrating set- up. There are holes everywhere! I have to by filler to get the tree to resemble your pictured tree and the cost is astronomical already. I personally will not buy your trees again! Why would you want to cheat the consumer?? Put out a quality tree! read more

I ordered a wreath that when it arrived was of very poor quality. I called to return it. They were very nice on the phone but in reality, they did not have any intention of accepting a return. They said they issued a Fed Ex label and it would be picked up. Also said they would credit my account. This was all lies, they did nothing at all. Have had a beautiful tree for about 5 years. It's heavy and sturdy. I've had one hell of a time keeping the preinstalled lights lit. I have needed to replace hundreds of incandescent bulbs, yearly. maybe this is the nature of the beast, until I break down and buy a LED prelit tree. Regardless you would think the Replacement incandescent bulb type/design would be the same, but NO. At the end of 2024 it changed, similar enough to look the same but different enough to not make electrical contact. I reached out to the company itself, customer service. The answer, Sorry but they do not support tree's older than 2021. SERIOUSLY, NO light replacements. Not the answer I was expecting. I ordered a nativity set and angel. The nativity set arrived however I never received the angel. Instead I received a Christmas tree. I emailed and called the company and the customer service is horrible. Uneducated representatives that don't listen to anything. Their solution was for me to bring the tree to a Fedex and return it. A tree I never ordered! Also, they I have asked via phone and email for them to send me the correct item- the angel I ordered. This is the worst experience. Please do yourself a favor and do not order from this company. I love the look of the tree. It is beautiful. It is expensive. I am willing to pay the price for a nice tree. The problem is the company. If you something breaks, it takes hours to reach someone. When you do reach someone, they were not helpful. I spent 1.5 hours on hold today to purchase a new cord. The person on the phone could not tell me what the difference between the old cord and the new cord so how do I know if it will fit...I don't. They also don't sell older parts. So if you have an older tree (5 years) you can no longer get parts if it breaks. You have to throw the very expensive tree away. read more

He said even though my tree didn't ship yet (after several days of placing my order), he won't cancel the order. I was looking for a pencil tree during cyber Monday Sales. One came up on National tree -$119 Keywood Fur on sale for $59. Great deal I thought so I purchased it. Reviewed my purchase and read the details on the tree. Even added a storage bag. I never dreamt they would change my order after I paid to a Cheaper Linden tree that is currently on sale for $38. When the tree arrived I knew it was not the tree I ordered but when I pulled up the order email they sent me it had the Linden tree on it. I would never have purchased that tree. I have tried calling- 38 people ahead, 27 people, 35 people. and so on.. I have emailed and explained issue. The response was to call the service department at the main number. The service department is not an option. I tried to return tree but they want $75 to return it and told me to call shipping to discuss. There is no option to select shipping. I could have purchased a decent tree at our local hobby tore for the same price that looks better. I am stuck with the tree. I bought a 7.5 tree during the sale - our first artificial tree. The top two tiers do not light. I emailed them twice and got no response. Yesterday I was on hold with customer service for an hour before it hung up on me and today I am going on three, yes three hours. They have said I am next in line for over 40 minutes. I refuse to pay return shipping or I would just send it back! When I finally got through to someone they offered to send me a sting of lights (?!), then said I could pay for shipping, then finally after 20 minutes agreed to send me a shipping label so I could return the broken product. Shockingly the label never arrived. I don't know how this company is in business. Do NOT buy from this company - go to a local retailer for purchasing a tree. I ordered a tree on Friday, and asked to cancel order Saturday as I changed to a slimmer tree. They claim they could not stop the order. Their return policy is $75 to return and they REFUSE to allow you to USPS ground or Fed Ex back to them. Outlandish. Worst of the WORST customer service. Bought a tree during the "Christmas in July" sale. Opened it up just right before thanksgiving to find that the lights on half of the tree went out. When calling this company I asked for a refund and that the tree quality was not what I paid for and half of the lights did not work. I got in touch with whom they told me was the "manager" who said to send an email and he would make things right. Never got an email upon calling multiple times they kept telling me the same story of how they wouldn't "take my money and run with it" if you are looking for a company with quality products who back them this is not the company you should buy your tree from. The app showed it had arrived but it was actually lost. I tried to call and sent emails to cancel the order but no one answered either. My credit card has been charged. This company is awful. Would give a zero score if it was an option. This company is 100% a scam. I only wish I had looked at reviews before purchasing. The tree I ordered is not at all what I was sent. They advertise full trees but the I was sent you can see straight thru it. It was advertised as a pre-lit tree. There were lights on it, but just loosely thrown on it. I have had pre-lit trees in the past, but the lights were always firmly attached to the branches. When the tree was placed in the included stand it was very flimsy and wobbly. I wish that I could find one positive thing to say about this tree but there is nothing! I call customer service within an hour of the tree being delivered. I was instructed to send an e-mail with pictures which I did the same day. Two weeks later, I have heard nothing. They charge $75 for a return label and don't allow you to send back without paying that ridiculous amount. I shouldn't have to pay to return. I'm not changing my mind; I just want what I ordered. I'm writing this review in hopes that someone will see it and not make the same mistake I made! read more

Customer service couldn't have been better. Jataiyah, (as well as Frank and Linda) couldn't have been more helpful. The lights on one section of my tree stopped working after year one. The tree was purchased on Amazon, but they couldn't help me and referred me directly to National Tree Company. Placed order for Christmas Tree, company immediately took my money but order was cancelled several days later due to lack of stock. There was no real-time when placing order of current stock. Here was the chain of events - On November 28 I placed my order through your website in which the money was withdrawn from my bank account that same day. Nov 30 an email was sent out from your company, a person named Chris, thanking me for my purchase. That same day I sent out an email asking when my order would be shipped out but there was no reply. Sent out a 2nd email on December 01 and again, no reply. December 03 an email was received from NTC stating my November 28 order was cancelled due to lack of stock. *** END *** I understand this is a busy time of year for the company but if there was a lack of stock, why was not I informed immediately or your website reflected this in real-time? In November 2023, I purchased a 70 LED Light Starter Set manufactured by National Tree Company for $79, with tax $86.23. The lights stopped working in January 2024. Since it had been more than 90 days since I purchased them from the seller on Amazon, they would not take the lights back, refund my money or replace the lights. I do not fault the seller. The box states on it that National Tree has a 3-year warranty on lights. I registered the product, even though their site is only for the registration of trees. I called to inquire about repairing the lights. I was told that they do not repair lights. I asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor also stated that they do not repair lights. I again stated that there was a 3-year warranty. She told me that I should send them back to the seller. I told her that it was not the seller's product it was National Tree Company's and the warranty on the box was from the manufacturer of the product (NTC), not the seller. The customer service representative stated that she would replace the lights because of the confusing verbiage on the box and the company's site. The tone and words both conveyed "We are doing you a favor by standing behind our warranty." Do not purchase from this company. If it takes this much effort to get a string of lights replaced, I can only imagine what it is like to get them to honor their warranty on a tree with lights. read more

Tree is pretty good, but expensive. Lights are really cheap and definitely not worth the extra money. They are just cheap incandescent strings that are zip-tied and electrical taped to the tree. My 10 year old daughter could do a better job. Had an issue with a string being out after opening the tree for the first time. Asked if they could give me some information on the lights so I could get something that matched for the season (intend to fully replace for next year) The 'customer service' person was undoubtedly the rudest and least helpful person I've ever dealt with. Could not give me a single piece of information, I never even asked for replacement or anything other than either the brand or the color temperature so I could match something on my own. Repeated emails with each one being ruder than the last. It's no wonder they have 1 star on the BBB website. Had I known ahead of time, I would have purchased something different. This is a terrible company. Do not buy from them. 14 days after I ordered through Home Depot, I finally am told that the tree never shipped in the first place despite the notification that it had. The Home Depot rep was as baffled as I was and couldn't get get through to National Tree for an answer. I finally had to do it. Mary at National Tree proceeded to blame Covid at a California fulfilment center. Covid doesn't keep a company from informing their customers that the product isn't shipping after said customer received notification that it was. I now cannot get a tree before Christmas due to this shipping delay. Thank you, National Tree. You destroyed my family's Christmas. Oh, and Mary? You don't ever ask someone if they live in the boonies because they live out West. You might want to learn something about customer service. I see the negative reviews, and guess I got lucky-hopefully because the company has improved. I got a 6.5 foot tree last year through Amazon (first time with an artificial tree!). It's very realistic looking, good quality, reasonably priced, and easy to set up. That says a lot since we've always had a live tree, and I was hesitant about getting an artificial one (we are at a point in our lives that it makes sense though!). I pulled it out to get ready for this holiday season (my kids will be home to help decorate it the weekend after Thanksgiving). I discovered that the lights in the middle section are out, and I can't figure out how to fix it. It is under warranty, so I contacted the company, who responded right away. They gave me ways to troubleshoot (which I tried) and are sending me a whole new tree which will arrive soon. I'm very impressed with the customer service I received, and how swiftly they are taking care of the issue! I do recommend this company and their trees, based on my experience. read more

This company deserves a zero! Prior to COVID they had a reputation for their poor customer service-rude, condescending and unwilling to help the customers who had built their million dollar business. This year they have been unable to fill a large majority of orders they received in the month of December for customers who order trees through their vendors such as Macy's, Bloomingdales and Bed, Bath and Beyond. I ordered a tree through Bloomingdales on December 9th and only after placing my order was I informed it wouldn't ship from Vendor until December 18- unheard of for Bloomies! Does it take 9 days to grab a tree from the warehouse and ship it? After complaining to Bloomingdales when my tree did not ship on the 18th, I received a message now stating it was back-ordered and wouldn't ship till January 21st, 2021. If Christmas is your only business "National Tree" you would think you would have your act together. I don't want to hear "your so Busy" as an excuse, because a business who is not busy during COVID is out of business. I urge large vendors not to use National tree company next year because it makes your business look bad when they don't deliver the one item you contracted with them. We also don't have a tree now for 2020 and of course all the stores are sold out! read more

The service center in New Jersey is as bad as it gets. Not only do they act like they are doing you a favor, they are rude and condescending at the same time; lets also add uneducated. The company does not stand behind its products. I purchased 3 new 5ft entry trees with LED multi colored lights. They are operated by a foot pedal that allows the user to change color, blinking etc. All 3 foot pedals were bad right out of the box. I was told that the company does not offer a warranty for 5ft entry trees. This is the most absurd policy I have ever heard of!
