I don't know what to make of this bank.
When my daughter was five I opened an account for her there, and later dicovered she was paying tax on her interest. It took two visits of over half an hour each, three months apart to sort this out. It took three months to realise they had failed. I insisted that the interest be corrected retrospectively.
A couple of weeks ago we went in to deposit some of her birthday money. I explained I did not have the account number with me, but as it was a deposit I was not bothered about documenting it. They refused!
I stood in utter disbelief. Finally they agreed, but reiterated my point that no receipt could be given. How very rude! I'd already explained that that would be the case. read more
