    Shrimp mofongo

Favorite spot in luquillo. So good went twice. Best mofongo and the chuleta can can was insane. Service was great too!

As far as a whole fried red snapper goes, it was up there with the best I've ever eaten. The shrimp that came with it was also amazing. The Corona was cold. The service was attentive. The ambiance was... What is the deal with these people driving around and around the Kioskos de Luquillo blasting music with speakers that are installed on the outside of their vehicles? Do they think that the public wants to listen to their shitty music at 120 decibels? I don't get it. Then there were these pickups driving around as well with HUGE speakers installed on the top, blaring out someone speaking about something. Who knows what was being said, because they drive by, you hear about 7 seconds of loud Spanish blathering billowing out those speakers, then the truck is out of ear shot. What's the point? This must be some sort of Puerto Rico culture thing that I hope never catches on in Texas.

Pork medallions with yellow rice and beans.

The food was so delicious! Located right along the beach. I had the grilled chicken, rice and beans. We also ordered pork medallions and the grouper fish. The creamy garlic sauce was so good! The staff was so sweet and brought the food so quickly. Thank you Jackie and staff for the wonderful service.

Delicious food, our waitress was so sweet. Same person that got us into the restaurant served us. Decharlene (I hope I spelled it somewhat right) she was so helpful even with my family trying to speak some Spanglish, they managed well. The drinks are yummy. View of the water, they have a rooftop but only open on the weekends :/ pretty pricey so be ready for that but the food was very rich in flavor

Outstanding hidden gem among the kiosks in Luquillo. Skirt steak was excellent, tres leches for desert, fruit drinks also outstanding. The service was even better. As a bonus, separate fryers for seafood allowed me to enjoy fried food without seafood cross-contamination; safe eating for shellfish allergy sufferers. Give them a try. You'll be glad you did.

Stopped in on Wednesday night for dinner. We were a party of 6 and were seated right away. Our waitress took our drink order and did not crack a smile or give us her name. A few of us ordered beers and a few drinks. I ordered a seltzer water and she brought me a tonic water. There was a wait staff of three, 2 female waitresses and one male. The male exchanged my tonic for a bottle of seltzer. We ordered a skirt steak medium rare, 2 mixed seafood salads and 3 whole fried snappers. The skirt steak was well done but the waitress never returned to ask us if everything was ok. She actually sat down to eat at the bar. Every time we asked for something we got an eye roll and we did not feel welcome. The only one that was a little more pleasant was the hostess. The fried snapper and rice and beans were very tasty and the seafood salad looked small at first but was actually a very deep dish and very filling. You have to ask to be buzzed into the bathrooms which is fine but they always made you feel like it was an inconvenience. Food was good but We just didn't feel welcome. They hardly spoke to us and interacted very little. As soon as we left they lowered the gate to close. Which was about 5 minutes before closing time. Good food but not good service. If it wasn't that we felt so uncomfortable to be there I'd give it 4 stars.

Seafood dishes were amazing! Delicious flavor and large portions. Nice staff. Open air dining near ocean in unassuming location.

Amazing! We ordered the seafood and skirt steak mofongos, both were delicious and flavorful. For drinks, we got the house mojito and the pina colada - super balanced and refreshing. This spot is a must visit!

FANTASTICO! Why are there not more reviews for this place? The view, (sunset- anytime, great!) the service, ( perfect in every way- sweetest server) the food (wow, just wow- picked the langostas from the tank, mofongo con pollo done right, rice-raved about) come here! Support these awesome people. The place was almost empty when we were there and it shouldn't be. It's clean, it's pretty, and every aspect of our experience was amazing. Also- best price for lobster in the Kioskos that we have found. We are a picky bunch of good cooks and this place blew us away.

Shrimp arepa w/ criolle sauce. On point.

Perfect place to land after beaching in Luquillo beach. The mojitos were yummy and the seafood delicious. Great views of the ocean to boot.

We walked by and it smelled great. Order a few appetizers and a few entrees. The fried cheese and grouper bites were a hit!

When we arrived, the main room was packed, and the few open tables were reserved. The host asked us if we'd be okay sitting in another room. I explained that we're visiting, and we wouldn't mind waiting for a table to open up where the live band section is. Upon hearing this, they were nice enough to accommodate us and make it happen. Special shoutout to our server! Unfortunately, I forget her name (it's been a month), but I remember she had this AMAZING makeup on, with lots of colorful beads in beautiful patterns across her face, as well as lovely hands with really fun nails and rings. She was so lovely and friendly, and she really made our night! If you see this, thank you :)

We had the fried red snapper and mofongo with shrimp, conch, and octopus. We had 2 beers and 3 bottled waters as well, and the entire tab was $46. It's a little mom and pop place that's in the very far back of the kiosks where people rarely go. It's a little dingy, and visitors include some flies and candy peddlers as well, which is the reason for the -.5 stars. However, the food was so well prepared that I'm giving it super high ratings. It's no La Parilla as far as fanciness goes. The menu is a little smaller and the atmosphere is definitely more hole-in-the-wall. The owner lady barely speaks any English, but I'm pretty sure all of the food was prepared by her, so extra kudos. I'd go here for a relaxing and relatively cheap night out with very very delicious food.
