If you like healthy smoothies made to order in a place filled with fresh pineapples, bananas, and mangoes and then this is the place for you. The sound of the smoothies being made fills the air along with the Latin music and smell of taco meat on the grill. We like!

Stopped here by accident. Milkshakes are the best! Great size and taste. I got the mangonazo and it's been the best mango milkshake. I also got plain quesadillas and were also delish with their spicy salsa.

Food was delicious! Chocomilk was also really good very large. Pricing wasn't too bad. The space is open air so depending on the playa del Carmen temps it can get rather hot, we went around 2pm so it was warm but we picked a spot next to fans and we endured. Service was good.

Amazing hole in the wall place with delicious juices that are amazing and cheap. The walls are filled with tasteful wall graffiti. Great ambiance and service

Great spot for a healthy breakfast or lunch for sure! You are not gonna find drunk tourist here drinking mimosas or tequila shots. Awesome juices and smoothies is definitely their focus and best items to go with your meal. We had enchiladas suizas , chilaquiles rojos, sopa de verduras con pollo and pancakes. The food was good and on par for breakfast to start the day. Gonna come back just to get the juices for the morning. My favorite juice was called Alma Grande. If you eat in ask to be seated in the second floor to avoid the noice of the kitchen.

After seeing long lines for takeout every morning I decided to check this place out. The lines are for the amazing Juices and that is all I am commenting on since I did not go inside to eat. They have a takeout area where you wait on the sidewalk for your order. Pros: As before mentioned, amazing juices. Freshly blended in front of you. Will not forget to mention that they are huge. And best of all they are only 40 Pesos which Is about $2.00! Cons: Takes awhile to get your order and will take even longer if there is a crowd already awaiting (most likely will be). Keep in mind you will be waiting with the Mexican sun beaming on you. I posted menu pics but just to give an idea of the options...I went with the "Jugo Verde" which consisted of Cactus,Grapefruit,Celery,Parsley, and Pineapple. They have great options. This is definitely a go-to spot for me now.

I walked by their juice bar and it looked like a nice ambient vibe. So I strolled in even though all I have been doing in Mexico is eating way too much. I ordered a nopal juice which they customized for me into my own green juice with cactus and honey. I also ordered veggie tacos which were fantastic and it was a ton of food- I just forgot to mention that I don't eat nightshades and Mexican food is typically packed with them. I spent a ton of time meticulously picking out all the bell pepper. I also spent a ton of time on the WiFi there.

Guys. You can't beat an entire liter of fresh juice for $2USD! It doesn't get more fresh than this and it was delicious! We were in a hurry so didn't try anything else but plan on coming back to sample more from their menu

Amazing meal. The mole is rich and delicious. Lots of vegetarian options. Very fun tropical decor with big statues and paintings of animals.

Good prices. Ok food! They do not have alcohol/beer wine available for purchase bug I did take some mini liquor bottles out of my bag and add them to my coke...good lunch spot. I would return but I would not order the garlic shrimp again.

Amazing food! All fresh, fruit juice freshly made there and taste great! Recommend the chilaquiles with half verde and roja salsa.. not spicy at all. Chef tacos with ranchera beef was super tasty as well. Highly recommend here and we are always trying to eat safely so this place is a plus!!

    Love the decor

This place is a hidden treasure close to the Mega Supermarket. Tasty healthy food and drinks at great prices. Staff is very friendly.

Great inexpensive food! The dishes were excellent and the portions were pretty big. You have to try one of their juices!!! This is a great spot that many locals come to after work as well as visitors.

I had someone give me a tip to try this place, very local Mayan cuisine. Its a small whole in the wall place with tables out front and usually only one server, which means long waits. They serve up some basic items, tostadas, empanadas, and soup. I got to try both the tostadas and empanadas. They were both very delicious. The chicken was moist and seasoned correctly. The bit of avocado they out on to makes it taste fresh. All the tortillas are made fresh to order and taste amazing. I did not get to try the soup, but I noticed a lot of people around me were eating it, so it must have also been really good. The hot sauce on the table is located in nameless red and yellow squeeze containers, made for ketchup and musturd I suppose. One contains a mild red sauce and the other is a very spicy green sauce that made my eyes water, but it was worth it. For drinks they serve only sodas and agua frescas. I got a horchata, and it was perfectly cinnamon tasting. I highly advise this place, because the food is great, my server didn't speak English but was very pleasant. They have both menus in English and Spanish. Also, did I mention the food is absolutely dirt cheap? My whole meal was like seven USD (70 pesos). I got a drink and four items along with chips. What a deal.

The service is quick, the prices are incredibly reasonable, and the food is consistently delicious. Before your meal even arrives, you're served a plate of fresh radishes, cucumber, and lime wedges, plus a selection of toppings including tomatoes, onions, and both a green and red salsa. Unfortunately this location didn't give us the cactus like the other locations did. The red salsa was my favourite, it paired perfectly with the tacos and had just the right amount of heat and flavour. The standout for me was the al pastor taco. The meat was incredibly flavourful with crispy edges, a smoky char, and the perfect balance of savoury spice and sweet pineapple. It was easily one of the best al pastor tacos I had in Playa del Carmen. I also tried the sirloin taco and the chicken breast plate, both of which were excellent. The portions were generous, everything tasted fresh, and the quality was impressive, especially for the price. El Fogón absolutely lived up to the hype. If you're looking for authentic, delicious tacos and grilled meats that won't break the bank, this is a must visit. I loved it so much that I ended up eating at all three locations and every visit was just as good as the last.
