I'm not an organic food buyer and was just turned on to some of the items recently and find myself going back for more lately. The store is always clean and well organized. The employees are always willing to help. Great source of gluten free foods for the folks on that diet. Awesome selection of Vitamins. Prices seem to be spot on for the products they carry and compare equally to the prices at the local Market Street. For all the whiners crying about the higher prices, stick to your Wal-Mart shopping as you won't find the quality of the Natural Grocer's there. read more

People seem to love this place. Pros and cons, at least some of them are as follows: The parking lot is terrible. It's small and I'll-configured. It's set up so you need to be disabled in order to park in a spot that isn't at risk of getting sideswiped or backed in to. The produce has a deeper selection than many departments but the items are not labeled so you don't know what the unusual fruit is, or how much it costs. One question I have is this, Why do people who eat natural foods need so many supplements? A full third of the store is devoted to health improvements. Mmmm mmmm. There isn't ample help at registers and the checkout space is cramped. The boxed/canned/bagged food selection is good, and interesting. The shelves are well stocked and well displayed. The cashier gave me a ladybug sticker. That's nice. I'm mid fifties. read more

This is my favorite new store. I recently relocated to North Texas to be closer to family from Honolulu. I used to shop at a store similar to this back home. I enjoy the community of people that frequent this place. Knowledgeable sales associates help guide you thru a large collection of vitamins, supplements, essential oils and quality non-gmo hygiene products. Looking for a large selection of quality vegetables, proteins, carbohydrates and everything in between? Look no further. Plus they have a large selection of chocolate bars which I grab a few every time I go there. So grateful for this place and their staff. read more

I went to Natural Grocers this week to pick up a few items, such as organic yogurt and some fruits and vegetables, and must say that I enjoyed my trip very much, especially with the fresh, quality produce and easy rows filled to the prim with healthy alternatives and medicines. I'm willing to say that the produce at Natural Grocers is the freshest of all of Wichita Falls, Texas. I will admit that the produce and yogurt was slightly more expense than their competitors, but the quality is far worth it for sure. read more

I fell in love with this store the moment I walked in. The employees were friendly; they spoke and came up to ask me if I needed help. The produce section is relatively small but has a lot of fruits and greens. It's very neat and clean in here and the aisles are wide and spacey. I love that they have tons of healthy items that I've never seen at Whole Foods at great prices. There's freshly ground almond and peanut butters sold by the pound, fresh trail mixes in the refrigerated area, tons of probiotics and my favorite, Traditional Medicinal teas, spearmint to be exact. It's so hard to find spearmint tea and they all were on sale at $3.29 down from $4.79. I was looking for the Yasso ice cream but it wasn't there; however, there are alternative brands with the same calorie amount or less. The 6 pack of Zevia soda was also on sale at $3.29 and there's a larger variety of them than I've ever seen: strawberry, grapefruit citrus, grape, root beer, cream soda, lemon lime and ginger ale. Anyway, I'll be revisiting while I'm here and I'm told it's a chain store and they're in 13 states. They have a host of vitamins, women's care and pet care products. read more

A great place for natural and organic foods. I always stop here when I'm in the area. If you are not familiar with Natural Grocers, it's a chain that's similar to Whole Foods, but not as large or overwhelming inside. They still have a huge selection with produce, frozen items, bulk foods, groceries, supplements and even cold items for to-go meals. What sets this Natural Grocers apart from some others that I have been to would be their service. Not only is everyone always very friendly and helpful here, but they helped me find a microwave on the sales floor that I could use to heat up my lunch. They also have a spacious dining area to eat. I've never seen it crowded in here. For prices, they are slightly cheaper than Whole Foods, so that is why I prefer coming here. They seem to have the best deals around when it comes to bulk dried fruits, nuts and that sort of thing. Look for hidden clearance specials and you can find really great deals here! There is always an excellent selection of vegan options, including some harder-to-find items, such as vegan cheeses and spreads. There is no shortage of veg options for meals too, with sandwiches, falafel and much more. I highly recommend checking out Natural Grocers if you are in the area. I will definitely be back the next time I am near Wichita Falls! read more

I've been buying primarily non-dairy shreds and slices here but there is always something new to try. I'm old school and normally wouldn't shop at a place that offered "hippie food" ha ha but I've been completely satisfied with their offerings. Their prices on what I need are great, better than the only other place in town where I can get it. Three thumbs up for the hippies! read more

Great place its small but effective. You can get organic,gluten free, cage free, vegan, vegetarian and all those amazing words in here. People are very nice and cheery. The prices are good. They have a huge vegetarian/vegan section. The best organic apple cinder! And they also have tours around there stores explaining healthy eating, trying paleo, why organic is good, and such. They don't use plastic bags, they have recycled boxs and reusable bags. For Christmas and thanksgiving you can preorder your turkey there that comes from a local farm. This is my little safe haven when it comes to going grocery shopping. read more

I had higher expectations as I frequent all the boutique grocery stores in the metroplex (TJs, WFM, CM, Sprouts). The place has some decent snacky stuff and competitive organic milk prices, but overall, prices are a little too high relative to The Falls or DFW. My biggest issue with store is there weak meat department. The fresh selection is super limited and very pricey. No thank you. There are some quirky frozen meats like elk, ostrich, etc, but those are more gimmicky than dependable as a weekly protein source. The store has potential, but seems to be underachieving a tad bit. ***Update*** lol. Went back last week and there was no fresh white meat chicken available. Completely empty shelves. That, my friend, is a joke. read more

I enjoy shopping at this store. It is the only place in town I can find the healthy foods and products I want to eat and use. The staff is great. I hear great things about the owners. I also hear that they have presentations at the market on health and new products. If you are looking for organic produce and other products such as gluten free breads, chips, and crackers. They have a variety of healthy products such as oils, lotions, soaps, and vitamins. The only down side I can see are the prices because some of the products are less expensive on Amazon. read more

This is the meca for ORGANICs, Vegan, Vegetarian, and Supplements in the Texoma region. I drive here from LAWTON! Texas has a better tax rate than Oklahoma! But, I hope that Natural Groceries will open in Lawton someday! HUGE selection of organic produce....Always fresh! HUGE selection of bulk items. HUGE selection of vitamins/supplements. HUGE selection of VEGAN specialty foods. GREAT prices! They beat any Whole Foods Market (Oklahoma City) or Green Acres Market (Oklahoma City and Lawton). Staff is helpful, friendly, and know their stuff! Store is clean and well stocked. We need more of these stores!!!! To the reviewer complaining about the "meat selection"....how about you go vegan and leave the animals alone? I hope that Natural Grocers eventually discontinues all their dead animal flesh products. I do need to give this place the credit they deserve. The fact that I actually enjoyed shopping here is something of an amazement that deserves a star all its own. They have a very comfortable feel and the employees are easily found as they're always walking around and checking the aisles. They had some music playing that I actually tap danced to for a second, I will admit. Now the employees there, each time one passed me they said "hello" and asked me how I was doing, which I thought was amazing. They smiled and actually acted like they enjoyed working there. The food was easily found, and the prices are fairly reasonable. The clerk I had was very kind and made me feel good as she was smiling and asking if I got through everything alright. There was a juice bottle I purchased and didn't know was open, and she caught that and went to retrieve another one for me. I have to say, though I can find some things at walmart that I can't find here, my experience with the employees and prices trumps walmart. They have a great selection of everything you could need from books to vitamins to food to hygiene. Only thing I will say is a lot of items I can find elsewhere like target or Walmart where several dollars more here. They should be more conscientious of competitor pricing. read more

Love this place! If you are on a budget, though, do your research as to what you want to prioritize on being organic or not, or you'll leave with a completely empty wallet. Another strategy of mine is to go to walmart or aldi first, then go here to get whatever they didn't have. I love that everything is labelled, if you're looking for gluten free, vegan, etc. And most of all, my favorite part is grabbing one of the natural sodas from their nice little fridge section, always a treat! read more

We shop at Natural Grocers for about half of our groceries. They carry a good selection of organic produce and you can usually find good deals on several items depending on the season. The meat selection could be better and less expensive but this isn't their specialty. Their selection of bulk/dry goods and vitamins/nutritional supplements is great.
