I love not having to drive into Tucson (70 miles round trip) to renew my license, but I think the fee is pretty steep. I also think the state fee is highway robbery, but being in constant pain and not getting any help from the rest of the medical profession, I am most fortunate to have the relief I get from high dose MMJ. At first, I couldn't figure out how to send my medical records so I took photos and sent them that way. That apparently worked! I've been going to this medical facility since I first got a medical license and have received consistently effective processing of my license. But it is sad to see how it has downsized from a full service homeopathic, natural care center to a tow or three person most phone and internet based service. I am still bummed that I didn't get the 90 minute MMJ-based massage when it was still available. read more

I originally went in to get my MMJ certification. The staff was great and courteous and processed everything in a timely manner. I saw Dr. Porter and she was great! She ended up noticing dry flakes on my face and beard and proactively pointed it out. She gave me an Rx for it and educated me on the reason for it. Totally took me by surprise. Being as how a lot of doctors I've seen/experienced (non homeopathic/naturalist doctors) are half assed, lazy, insurance hungry creatures. And that boils my blood. So thanks Dr. Porter! I've been going to natural health care center for a few years now. Dr. Jazmine May was my primary physician that I used to see over there and just say she's fabulous is an understatement. I scheduled my appointment for this year realizing the Dr. Jasmine was no longer there so I was a little nervous because I was comfortable with her. So I went ahead Dr. Brown was now the attending physician over there. She was just amazing of course answered all my questions and took very good care. The people that work there are always wonderful to work with and they take their time will explain everything to you completely. I can highly recommend natural health care center. I went to Natural Healing for a recertification today and they were friendly and did a good job coaching me on the new digital cards. But no one, including the doctor, was wearing a mask!! We are entering into what is predicted to be the most intense two weeks of the Covid-19 pandemic so far, and no one bothered to put on a mask. This supposedly a medical clinic, come on people! I was very uncomfortable being there, and there was no way to maintain even three feet separation at all times. Since wearing a mask is something that's done to protect other people (such as patients), this seemed careless and unprofessional. Would not recommend this clinic. read more

This health clinic truely cares about their patients! I found out about this center through a friend that recommended acupuncture to me I have been dealing with chronic back pain for the past few years. Mostly I believe from a car accident that I never fully healed from. Everyone I spoke to at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. They explained to me the process and services offered at their clinic to help with chronic back pain. I actually decided to start with a 1 hour Massage and Kinesio tape application first. Mostly because I have a minor fear of needles and the front desk assured me that their lead massage therapist specializes in chronic pain rehabilitation and injury management. DEFINITELY WHAT I NEEDED! After the first session I could feel a drastic difference. I could actually get out of bed in the mornings! I have booked two more follow-ups for the next 2 weeks and have been practicing the stretches he showed me, daily. Where to begin?!? :-) I'm sooooo glad I discovered this place! I had my first appointment with Daniel "Danny" Yrigoyen a few weeks ago and he did outstanding deep-tissue bodywork that helped amazingly with the long, loooong-term issues I 'brought to the table'. I should say that I have massage therapy training myself and I was giddy to *finally* find someone who actually knows what they're doing. I don't mean that in any way as an insult to other therapists - it's just that when you submit yourself for true deep-tissue massage, you're pretty much rolling the dice. Does this person know what they're doing? Will they hurt me, help me, or just waste my time, money, and trust? After all, done properly, this sort of massage requires extensive understanding of anatomy and physiology. A relaxing massage is a lot easier to manage, but it takes genuine knowledge, experience, and talent to get the *deep* pressure just right. So, chronic pain patients who are seeking relief, I highly, *highly* recommend giving Danny a try. I'm certain you will be impressed. P.S. I read the other reviews for Natural Healing Center and their other services. I've had several other appointments here and I have never experienced any of the negatives that were mentioned. I saw Dr. Jasmine May for my Medical Marijuana Card. I had been putting it off for a longer than I should, as my experience with doctors has always been very dismissive. Not so with Dr. May and staff. It was a smooth and seamless process. I would love to use Dr. May as a primary care doctor, it is a shame that insurance will not cover Naturopathic physicians, but we all know why.
