I was extremely disappointed. I made my appointment 3 weeks in advance and 1 week prior to the appointment date I called and had it moved by two days. I arrived at 10am on the changed appointment day, only to be told I did not have an appointment. They never actually moved the appointment. They were not apologetic, did not offer a discount to come back for a rescheduled date. They acted inconvenienced. I will never rebook this venue or recommend this salon to any of my friends with dogs. read more

She immediately bent down to get to know my pup and gently scooped her up and took her to the back. My review is based off of their self-grooming stations: I've decided any time on a whim that it was time for my pup to have a bath. Rarely ever do I schedule to rent a booth more than a day ahead of time, my schedules busy between work and two small children so a grooming appt (one that Im the one doing the grooming at) isn't high on my priority list. But when it's time- it's time! We all know that "smell" right?! Their staff has always been very kind and courteous, whether on the phone or at the store they've never provided anything less than customer service. There are two different bath tubs you can rent, and the first time I went in I was stumped which one to choose. The attendant working the grooming station had no problem explaining in great detail the differences between the two. I opted for the hydro-surge (more expensive of the two) and haven't wavered since. They hydro-surge hashtag the shampoos/conditioners attached to the hose and nozzle. So with a flick of a switch, you can choose between the different options of the two. It's convenient. Super convenient when you're working with a 65 pound ball of love! They have great options for shampoos and conditioners. When they send you back after they check you in, they also give you a basket with all the grooming supplies you need, and they have always been cleaned very well. I've never had an issue with cleanliness here. The dryer is great once you've completed the wash. It's like a commercial size wet/dry vacuum with a blower attached to it (sorry for my absolutely silly description, only thing I could compare it to). It's so much better than the punt hair dryer I've tried to dry my pup with at home. In less than 10 minutes my pup is dry and ready to hop in the back of my car without leaving wet spots and the lingering "wet dog scent" we all love to hate. I recommend this place to anyone who needs a spot to groom their fur babies. The service is top notch, they have great supplies to use and their grooming stations are always clean when I use them. read more

So... I'm sort of a crazy cat guy. I've got 3 cats that I love a lot and sometimes I like to spoil them with toys and stuff of that sort. I've started going here for that reason because it's the only place in Kitsap I can think of that provides me with that. The pet food selection here is expensive but of good quality and I have no issue shelling out a little bit to provide my animals with something that will help them live longer. Decent selection of cat toys and treats as well. The store is set up more with dogs in mind though. After going to Naturally 4 Paws for a while - we were so affended at a sign they had posted about children! I found another Superior Pet Food Store and realized how very, very nice the people who not only own it - but also who are employees there! We have never gone back to Naturally 4 Paws - and never will! This other Superior Pet Food Store is the best - most healthiest place to buy your pets foods! We have a boxer who has cancer - and we have her on a NO GRAIN diet and it helps her so much! I would highly recommend to people to not feed their dogs grains! It's not good for them!! This Superior Pet Food Store in Poulsbo has the best variety of very healthy food and snacks for your pets - and they are sooo nice - and they love children and encourage them to shop in their store! Its a shame that the owners of Naturallly 4 Paws care more about their customers pets - than their customers children!! This other place we go to does not allow pets in their store - unless they are very children friendly!! They would rather have children in their store!! If I could give a NEGATIVE 10 star rating I would!! I made an appointment for my Golden Doodle to get groomed. I told them up front that we were unable to get him groomed before we moved to the area. I explained that he had some matting and I was assured that they understood and had plenty of experience with Golden Doodles. I couldn't get him for about 3 weeks in that time I spent hours working on his matts using special de-matting products. When my husband dropped him off he did state we were aware he had some matting and that he may need to be cut a little shorter than we would normally choose. When my husband picked him up he was dumbfounded and speechless. The groomer shaved all his hair off!!! ALL OF IT!!!! He looks like a sickly dog. I'm not exaggerating one bit!! Not only did the groomer shave off all his hair they cut his long gorgeous eye lashes off!! I don't even know what to say!!! Aside from I want my money back!! I could have taken electric clippers and shaved him myself!! No extra time was taken in grooming him it was clearly about the easiest option for the groomer. Disappointed isn't even enough to cover it...he looks HORRIBLE!!!! To top it all off he's all freaked out because his hair is so short!! read more

Not happy at all with their Grooming service. I've used the services five times maybe. Each time I stand and wait and wait. I am never acknowledged by grooming staff. I stand and wait. I hollered "Hello"!! NOTHING!! They can't hear me over the dryers, Today I arrived for my appointment. After waiting ten minutes I went to the front and asked "what does it take to be acknowledged back there?" twice I did this. The front staff informed me I was late for my appointment. I was told at @2:00, I wrote down @ 2:00 while making the appointment. I have the post-it here at my desk. I was offered an appointment 1/2 later. I had already waited twenty minutes. NO THANK YOU. I returned my purchase and was refunded the grooming fee. They lost me as a customer. I wrote them a note on the website, How can they call themselves a spa?? Just for simple nail trimming. I'm not as upset about the mix up with the appointment. I'm upset because it took twenty minutes to leave the store dissatisfied. read more

Been here a few times just to get some treats for my dog. They have a great variety to choose from, not to mention the homemade dog cookies in their display case are very cute. I've also used their self service doggy wash & was very impressed that they give you a little basket with everything you would need & that there's soap already on station so you don't need to bring your own. Too bad my dog doesn't like me giving him a bath lol! However he does well for their groomers. Made an appointment for him about 2 weeks in advance but also asked to be put on a standby list if anyone cancelled. Sure enough we got in that same week. My dog is a husky/malamute mix so naturally we got the deshedding shampoo. Also his nails got trimmed & filed, looks like they even brushed his teeth, & I asked about trimming the fur around the pads of his paws because he'd been having a harder time not sliding on the hard wood floors. They have great product selection. The only problem I ever had is that they change up the dog food so often. That they stopped carrying my regular dog food, due to "changing it up." But, THANKFULLY we now have him on a brand that they seem to carry often. As far as the Spa, It's okay. I have super high expectations when I take my doggies to get regular monthly groomings. They are shih tzu's and I love their hair to be to perfection. I would say they do an entry level job on the styling, the products are high quality, very nice. I also have had to help hold down my dog. Which was odd, because he just stands there. Therefore, I don't get my grooming here any longer. But, great store! large inventory. The staff here all incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I received especially amazing service from Valerie, a groomer at N4P, who asked if I needed help while I was surely looking overwhelmed at the wall of kibble with my shiba inu, Kona. She explained to me what different levels of protein can do for a dog and what to look for when deciding to provide my pup with a grain free diet or not. She then helped me on the grooming side to find a skin therapy shampoo and multipurpose grooming brush to alleviate Kona's winter itchiness blues. Wow, I can't believe I didn't think to check this place out sooner! I'm very conscious of the impact my purchases make, environmentally, economically, and socially. I prefer to buy locally made (or at least made in the US), eco-friendly (or at least plastic-free) products whenever possible. Sure, call me a tree-hugging hippie, I'm fine with that. When it comes to cat toys, this seems nearly impossible. Go to any other pet store and you will find that every single product is some plastic junk made in China. I honestly wasn't expecting this store to be any different, I just thought they had natural grain-free food and treats. But I was SO pleasantly surprised to find that probably more than half of the cat toys are made in the USA and many are made of eco-friendly, biodegradable materials! The one I chose was even made by a company here in Washington and there is absolutely no plastic whatsoever on the product. I am so glad that the owners of this store take the time and effort to find high quality products like these. I was starting to think if I was going to find a product that met my standards I would have to go to a much more progressive area, but nope, this place is right here in my back yard. I have gone here for years for good food for my pets, homeopathic products and the knowledge of the people who work there. My 15 yr old cat has diabetes and is suffering with pancreatitis. The vet wants to give him shots of antibiotics, an anti nausea shot and meds to increase his appetite. None of which actually treat the pancreatitis or his pain. He is on insulin but after much research I found that CBD Hemp Oil was recommended for many cat illnesses including pancreatitis because of its anti inflammatory properties, and it does not cause them to get high but calms. Cats can NOT have ANY THC!! I found it there! Organic and THC free!They also showed me some low carb, low fat food and a homeopathic pain med for cats. Not sure about the pain meds but after just a couple days my cat is eating better and moving about more. It remains to be seen but their knowledge was amazing! Saved me $200. at the vet also! read more

I love taking my dog here for grooms. I drop her off, shop around silverdale, and she is usually done within an hour and they call me to get her. I really like that. This way she doesn't have to be in a cage too long waiting. They are so incredibly friendly here. Valerie is our groomer and I recommend her for kitsap pups. read more
