After each visit Oscar is always sporting a new different coloured bandana to wear like a 90's kid proudly sportin his new Air Jordan's! They have a wide array of supplies for cats and dogs. For more in depth spa services (haircuts) they prefer you make an appointment in advance. Service is always professional and courteous. Our buddy comes out happy and so are we after a visit to Polux!

We dropped off our Oscar in the morning and he had his operation and they mentioned to us to come back in the evening so they could observe and make sure our guy was okay. Since I had never been to this Vet my wife asked me to come with her to pick up our little guy in case he was out of hand. First entering this place you really see that it's very clean, new and spacious. On the left side there is a store with pet food and other items. On the right is a desk with some administrative people managing people walking in the door. We arrived in the evening and waited and were briefed by one of the Vet staff of all the things we should be cautious of and make sure that we follow after the surgery. The woman did a very good job explaining the fact that we couldn't walk him for 5 days and that we should try to keep him as calm as possible. Just a heads up not sure if they speak English here but all was explained in French. They made sure they took the time to make us feel like we were taken care of and I really appreciated their professional approach. All instructions were explained slowly, calmly and with care. I know there is another vet in the area but I will come back and use the services here as it was excellent! A visit to a vet is not cheap (Just under $300 for us for this visit) but we were happy with their approach. Thank you!

(One other is in the mall Galleries Terrebonne, the other is on Rue De Perigueux) . Back to Mondou, they have a good thorough selection of what you need for dogs and cats and a few other smaller animals (small birds, hamsters, mice, rats ferrets etc). But mostly it's for cats and dogs. Collars, animal toys, pet food and bones plus much more. Mondou tends to have pretty good coverage in the province of Quebec with stores all over the place. I came by to her a new dog leash. The selection was pretty vast. All different colours and kinds. In the end I decided to go with a basic black one. What drives me nuts about this location however is the parking. It looks like it was an after thought with few spots and not very easy to get in and out of. However it's a minor inconvenience. Overall the big US chains such as Petco trump Mondou in terms of selection this location has the basics and then some. They also have a loyalty program. Just make sure you don't forget your loyalty card at home (like I did)! Woof, meow or chirp you should be good to go.
