Fantastic views & great experience for all ages. Dogs allowed but I wouldn't recommend bringing…read morethem due to density of crowds. Bring cash for deck food & souvenirs; note the post box is for German mail-NOT international;) To reach the spire you must climb off the side of the observation deck & up the next rock face. Extremely dangerous & at your own risk. If you have climbing gear I'd recommend bringing it for better security while climbing although you'll see most people don't have any I didn't and my nerves were shot when done! In inclement weather the option to do this is closed due to obvious safety reasons. Proceed with extreme caution! Skiing & sledding available when snow starts!
