My install was on the larger side but the shortcuts were everywhere. Leaving the burlap balls on trees planted was a classic to name one. Over half the original trees have now died. They replaced two trees after much haggling and one of those died a second time. Now I only buy trees from actual arborist who know how to plant a tree. They built a boulder wall that has been an erosion nightmare from year one. No drainage or geo grid was used anywhere. It's not how it's done according to the real pro's that came in and got it right. There are many better choices (Breaking Ground) in the area that will save you thousands and future headaches. Carson Stone is related and would advise avoiding that business as well.

Our sub pump ran all the time (at least once an hour), and once the standing water under the cement was revealed we understood why. We felt suddenly thrown into a crazy renovation show where the contractor called and said, "I need you to come see this" and we were faced with a larger, more expensive job. But what could have been a nightmare, was made into a relatively short painless process. Steve and Outdoor Oasis worked hard to come up with creative solutions to our drainage issues while trying to stay in budget and give us a beautiful backyard patio. We love the new space and are still amazed at the end result. We are already planning phase 2! All that and our sub pump maybe goes off once a day now! Highly recommend. Also recommend giving this crew some creative license, what they came up with was better than I had wanted! Total pros! On a side note, we've had other crews come in for other work, Steve and company did the best job keeping the work site clean, organized, and took initiative let the neighbors know ahead of time what would be going on.
