Better to have more than not enough. After the project was done, I brought several packages back to Garcia Tile, very heavy packages, the guy looks at me like I was a ghost, all the salesman friendliness and warmth gone. Then he says several times, "We told you there was a 30-day return policy." As in, our ass is covered, we're not going to lose any profit on this deal. He sure didn't say it several times when we bought the tile, maybe he said it once to my wife. If I had heard that, the return deadline would have immediately gone on my Google calendar, maybe I would have even delayed the purchase. So now I'm stuck with several very heavy bundles of tile worth several hundred dollars that I have no use for. Thanks for nothing, Garcia Tile.

There is also a nice educational display adjacent to the sales area to browse while shopping. This is new in the last decade. We came with intention of freshening our MBL logo shirt collections. I was especially hoping to finally find a woman's specific style somewhat "dressier" tee shirt than the average workday beach and outdoorsy styles of the past. And in a color I like. Big demands, but they delivered this time. We have often bought tees for our children and grandchildren too. This year we found all of those, and more! I was ecstatic. My husband got a new hat color of their classic logo cotton baseball style, I found a "faded raspberry" V- neck tee with cap sleeves. I also found a baby onesie with their seahorse logo on the front for the newborn of a friend. I also found a lot more. I got some unique handmade earrings in a nautical theme, I found some coasters for a small table in our living room and two new colors of the classic men's tee shirts for my husband. He can never have enough. They are quality cotton and have lasted for decades. In the past, we have purchased mugs, socks and pens, all with the classic logo, both historic and modern versions. We have purchased science books for various children. Don't miss this stop in Woods Hole as it is separate from their research and classroom buildings across the street. After shopping, look through the science displays on the walls and counters behind the gift items. There are educational and fun videos to watch but also feel free to play with the microscope that is set up. Staff was very helpful and as they were unpacking new items that I had never seen in the past, they were happy to set some aside for me to buy before I left. I provide home care for children with behavioral, mental & physical disabilities. However, on my spare time, I love making fairy gardens. John & Cindy have a beautiful selection! Not to mention great prices & they often have deals on perennials. Cindy is very sweet & she once gave me a tray of free perennial daisies. I love this place not only for their plants & sweet customer service but because they support people with disabilities. I do not work in the area anymore but I will be taking the drive to get my fix!
