On Friday I ordered some shoes for pickup at the store on Saturday, Christmas Eve day. To my dismay, they were closed all day Saturday. There was no sign on the door regarding changed hours. I tried cancelling my purchase online but there was no way to. I went to a competitor that was open that day and bought the same shoes. When I came in the day after Christmas to cancel the order a none-too-polite gentleman said I had to wait until the shoes arrived before I could cancel the order. This is when I realized the online ordering system was not realtime and did not mean the product was actually in the store and available for pick-up. After I received an e-mail on Tuesday that the shoes had arrived, my wife went to pick them up and return them while I was at work but was told she needed not only the printed out e-mail (which she had) but my photo ID as well. Since the store closes at 5 pm weekdays there's no way 9-5 workers can get to the store while it's open. So we waited until the next weekend to go in and receive and return the shoes. Way too much trouble doing business with this company. read more
