We all know the wait is horrible and parking sucks but that isn't entirely the employee's fault…read more What I will complain about is that the employee's who call out numbers need to speak UP and clearly. They will call the number ONCE and if you miss it, you miss it. That really annoyed me because the screen wouldn't even update the current number called. Its such an easy part of their task and they need to do it right. Especially with how many elderly go, I'm sure they won't catch it if they say it once and mumbled. Other than that, the lady who helped me was quick but wanted to be a smart ass so bad. Humble yourself...

After trying to explain my situation (hard when someone who seems to hate their job keeps trying to interrupt). The security then tried to aggressively snatch my phone which upset me because i didn't give him the okay to use my phone. What could've been an easy walk in visit (which is welcomed according to the information available online), turned out to be unpleasant and i was unable to complete my applications. You shouldn't have rude security as the first person to greet people that may be going through challenging times in their life. the third party company used for security should place the older gentleman in security under observation for his rude and aggressive behavior towards people. Sent in my husband the same day to "walk in" and he was met with a completely different attitude and was welcomed in. We stayed to observe their behavior and everyone else was waved inside with no issues.

I've worked at clinics as a pharmacy intern but to be on the other side as a patient is a totally different story. You walk into the SD County Public Health building (located next to the railroad tracks) and first you have to go through security. If you're in need of vaccinations, look to your right after the security check point and enter that room. You will check in and the staff will give you a number so that they can call you up to discuss what you need. Once you're called, they will have you fill out paperwork (especially if it's your first time) and tell you that everyone needs to apply for Covered California if you are uninsured. Turn in the paperwork right away and they will give you another number and the time to return back to the clinic for whatever vaccination you requested. At this time you will also pay for your vaccines ($10 per vaccination for uninsured). You can waive it if you are unable to pay for it (just ask!). MediCal patients are free but need to show their insurance benefits card at the counter. I came in at 8:30AM and they told me to come back at 1PM. Even when I came back at 1PM, I still had to wait another hour before they called me into the office to give me a flu shot. The waiting time is horrible but what can I expect when I don't pay for insurance? TIPS: - Can set up appointments online on their website to avoid my situation described above - Parking is horrible at all times of the day so beware - Come in early so you can get into the clinic because they do have a cut off time when they cannot accept more patients

Boy oh boy, was I glad I hired Mr. Jorge Gonzalez. I'll be…read morehonest -- I thought I had this handled. I speak Spanish fairly well, and I had already navigated family immigration processes like residency and citizenship in the United States. I figured hiring a facilitator for my Mexican immigration process might be a waste of money. I was wrong! ! ! Jorge is a seasoned veteran when it comes to Mexican immigration. Before I even hired him, he patiently answered my questions, and from the way he responded, I could tell he knew Mexican immigration regulations and procedures inside and out. His professionalism and depth of knowledge immediately impressed me -- and that's when I decided to bring him on board. Best decision I could have made. Jorge is meticulous with documentation. He clearly explained what I needed to do before my interview, helped ensure all my paperwork was properly translated and apostille, and always gave me the option to save money by doing certain legwork(translation and apostille)myself if I wanted to. No pressure -- just solid guidance. When my wife and I arrived at the boarder for my appointments, Jorge walked us through every step of the process -- from Mexican customs to the Canje and the immigration office. He made sure we understood exactly what was happening and what to expect. Now, let me be clear -- the Mexican customs and immigration staff were highly highly professional the entire time. But like any government system anywhere in the world, there can be glitches. We hit one. What should have been a quick five-minute stop at customs to process the Canje turned into a 35-45 minute delay. The officer asked me to sit down while he verified my visa in the office, not to get in detail I had conflicting information on the Visa. That's when things could have gotten stressful. But Jorge? He immediately notice the delay and went into action. He started making calls to his contacts, checking whether Mexican system where down or if he could adjust appointment time if necessary. He anticipated the problem before it became one. Fortunately for me, customs resolved the issue and cleared me to proceed -- that was the moment I truly understood the power of having a professional facilitator in your corner. As someone who works in government, I understand how important it is to build strong professional relationships within the agencies and industries you oversee. The same applies to facilitators. They cultivate professional relationships with the government agencies they work with -- especially when interacting with them on a daily or weekly basis. Having someone with those established connections can make a significant difference when unexpected issues arise. Mexican immigration can be extremely detail-oriented. If your paperwork isn't perfect, you can easily lose hours -- or days. I did not want to be the person getting turned away because of a missing document or technicality. Something that should take a couple of hours can quickly turn into a days or week if you're misinformed. When we arrive at the Mexican immigration Jorge does must of the documentation review with the immigration officer. With Jorge on our side the documentation and procedures was very smooth and trough out the process Jorge inform us of every step of the process. If you're considering an immigration visa to Mexico, I absolutely recommend Jorge Gonzalez. I know I'll be working with him again -- my end goal is Mexican citizenship, and there's no question who I'll trust to help me get my Mexican citizenship hassle free. If you're thinking about taking the plunge, do yourself a favor and get a pro in your corner. Hope this helps.
