This library is far from being comfortable but it's at least functional.Its kind of loud and more family orientated.Maybe because its just Saturday. They have an adult fiction, childrens,young adult, adult non fiction section.The printers are located up front near the check out.Also up front is the computer sign up which is more towards the middle.The information desk is next to the computers and everything else is around in the front or the behind..Basically you wont get lost anywhere in this place. The people seem pretty nice I guess.My cousin called me twice and this old lady gave me a look like I was disturbing the peace.She chooses to ignore the others talking and the rowdy kids earlier but I guess that didn't matter. This isn't really the greatest place to study or think but I'm sure they do have some info in here.Its a library afterall.

Of course that have all of the amenities that you look for in a library including computers, printing, fax, copies, etc. I didn't get a chance to look at the book selection, but it looked pretty stocked. I love how spacious it is. You don't have to worry about being up close and personal with people while your focusing on a project. They also have private meeting spaces and rooms as well. My goal now is to get a library card to make printing and other transactions more convenient! Love it!

Some of them were children's books, such as Raggedy Ann and Andy, which cannot be found today. Some of them were British literature and English Literature. They were books that any collector of such books would appreciate. My first thought was to donate them to Goodwill so that they could be purchased by those who would appreciate them; however, my thought to donate them to the library won out. I had never been to that library before. I went through the front door with the first of two boxes. There were three ladies working at the front desk. Two of them met me with silence and never spoke to me (other than their silence). I went in and set the box down and told them I wanted to donate them. One of the ladies came over to me and told me there was another door to take them to. There was no sign whatsoever that that door was for donations. However, from the front entrance, that door led to a room that only a few feet away. The lady told me to move my car and take them to that other door. I told her my car was right at the front entrance and there was no need to move it. She put up such a fuss that I told her to show me the place to put them and I would take that box to the room. Remember that this was only the first of two boxes. She huffed and puffed about it and finally picked the box up and took it to that room and then opened the entry door to that room so that I could take the second box into that room. Both boxes had only a few books, so they were not heavy. I got the second box in through the donation door (which had no indication that it was to deliver donations). During that entire encounter, the woman did not speak to me. As I was leaving, I introduced myself and told her I was new in town and didn't know many people. She said she had lived here since whatever year and didn't know anyone. By then, I had surmised already that she did not care to know anyone. I wondered why she was working where she was working, what with dealing with people. I told her my son lived here and told her the name of his company and suggested that she may have seen his work vans around town. "I told you," she said sternly, "that I don't know anyone." Since I was there, I really wanted to get a library card and browse around through the books. After my encounter with these very hostile women (especially that one), I decided I had no inclination to ever go back there. I did inquire on behalf of my neighbor who is disabled, but loves to read, about what she had to do to get books from there. The woman said she has to have a TN driver's license. I told her again that the lady is disabled and does not drive and, therefore, has no license. I asked if she could produce something like a utility bill, etc. "No. She has to have a TN driver's license." There are so many disabled and elderly people in Somerville who don't drive and have no license because of that reason. Yet, they love to read, and it is one thing that would make their days and nights - their world - a better place in which to be. I would say that all three of those women need to be dismissed from their positions at Fayette County Library and replaced with others who love books and enjoy getting to know people (especially other readers). By the way, that hateful woman never even thanked me for my donation. From now on, and as long as those hateful, hostile women are in their positions, Goodwill is where I will do all of my book business.

I believe upon and entering tickets we're given out prior to the line up so basically I guess that means that my ticket number represents the place in as it is understood to be. I heard a customer yell out about his disliking for the wait. Others nodding their heads in agreement 2 visit 11-3-2022 Ticket 88 I arrived at opening the call number that heard after receiving the ticket was number 66 so again hopefully this paints a picture of the wait time frame. All I can say is as for waiting this not conducive if you have littles to wait especially if it goes on after the first to the second hour. I can say that the staff behind the glass did say good morning when I got my ticket-- oh by the way seating is very limited especially if there's already a line formed so keep that in mind. You may not be seated until a seat becomes available so be prepared to stand Incase one wanted to know what number is in service/being called there's a brown box with the number light up in red above the service door

Fantastic! For adults, for children, for families, and for the community. They truly have something to offer everyone. From the new books they're constantly adding to their collection to used books for sale to classes and crafts to movie days and community outreach. The library itself is tiny but mighty. The staff here is friendly and quick to help! If you live in Arlington it's free to sign up for a library card. If you live elsewhere I believe it's $50/year to become a member. This place has become our family's happy place and I hope you give it a chance so it can become yours too.

I went to the…read moreMunford post office for help with a shipment that stopped moving and has been sitting in Memphis. There were signs all over their doors to call the Millington post office. That was a waste of time. The person that answered the phone was rude and had an attitude. When I mentioned that I'm trying to get help getting a package that is medication that I needed urgently she kept saying she couldn't help me. I asked if they could contact the warehouse she said no that no one can call them. She then ended the call by hanging up on me. How this person had a job in customer service is beyond me. I am aware we just had a winter storm but mail resumed 5 days ago.

However, the front staff here have been outstanding. I came here twice during Christmas week to get some last minute items shipped off to customers and the staff were very friendly, had a great deal of patience's and surprising this post office is very fast. If you are in a rush, you can count on this post office to deliver fast service.
