I was there 2-3 times a week for about 3 months. They started charging/billing more for my visits without ever telling me that when I was there paying the same old amount they asked for. I never received a bill while I was going to sessions. However, a month after I stopped going I received a hefty bill. When I asked for more detailed information, I was sent a spreadsheet with random amounts paid (not what I actually paid each visit). I'm in my 50s and have two adult children. I have been to a lot of doctors and have never experienced anything like this. I played phone tag with the billing, spent hours trying to figure out why my visits increased in price when all the codes were the same. The billing department didn't help much. Every now and then I received a text from Jamie, the office manager. I responded twice with great detail about my frustration with the bill. I never received a response from her.

She is very knowledgeable and caring. She adjusted my treatment as needed during the course of my therapy, resulting in 100% improvement of a year old shoulder injury. She provided written instructions for continued therapy at home to prevent additional injuries in the future. I will definitely use them for future needs and recommend others to them. Today, two months later; I did three loads of laundry with a front loader, carried the full bags upstairs myself, lifted five metal pots at once from the back of the bottom shelf to the counter in order to get to the one on the bottom, and cooked three recipes for Friendsgiving that required heavy lifting. It had an odd smell that was very musty or moldy, so if you are sensitive, might want to steer clear. The entrance to the suite is confusing because there are two offices sharing the same suite. Since I can't see that far away, I struggled to see where I was supposed to check in. I don't think that my poor vision was the only cause for confusion, because I saw multiple people come in confused during my ONE-HOUR wait. I thought about leaving due to length of wait coupled with the loud TV tuned in to some ridiculous morning show that was discussing whether addition to porn needed to go into the DSM manual (diagnosis manual for mental diseases.) The waiting room was painful from the TV alone, but the three people that smelled like an ash tray sure didn't improve things. It's so small in there, and I tried to sit as far away as possible, but it didn't help. I'd definitely suggest going to the Dearborn location as it's a bit bigger, but the TV is still quite annoying. The doctor that I went to see was nice enough, seemed to get defensive when I started asking questions. He acted like he was welcoming my questions, but his tone made me feel otherwise. I had heard good things about this office of doctors because my friend that's a PA in orthopedic surgery told me about them. However, the fact that he was going to make me come back in for yet another appointment prior to surgery was unnecessary and a waste of my time. I have had (unfortunately) several orthopedic surgeries in my life and have never had so much office time prior to a surgery. Quite annoying, especially given that I had such a long wait. If it were a quick in-and-out appointment, maybe that wouldn't have annoyed me so much. In the end, I will likely not be using this office for my surgery.
