All layed out in a schedule that made sense,was predictable and gave you reason to schedule around T.V. viewing. I have to admit,I miss those days. NBC morning shows are daily mandatory viewing for Marianne. I start my day with the tape of the Kelly Clarkson show that aired the day before. At 4am Frances Rivera comes on the show Early Today with the National News. And at 4:30am during my breakfast I enjoy Today in New York with the family like faces of Darlene Rodriguez, Michael Gargiulo, Maria LaRosa (weather forecast) and Adelle Caballero traffic reporter. NBC has great sports coverage. I've got my NBC Sports Key Chain because I'm a huge fan. If you're living in NYC I'm sure you have your favorite channels. I'm recommending NBC. read more

The coverage of the Olympic Women's Biathlon event was horrible nearly schizophrenic! Had they just covered the race start to finish that would have been good. Instead they flipped from one lap to another with abandon. Not easy to watch. Kept showing the start over and over. Than jumping from 1 lap to another made it impossible to follow. I regret trying. First of all, the drop downs on your contact us/ help page are so glitchy that consumers can't select the right categories -- please fix? So this general comment pertains to the Winter Olympics: Just wanted to express my disappointment regarding our top correspondents -- specifically, Snoop Dogg openly and clearly mocked an opera singer at La Scala earlier. This makes America look bad, and while I understand that Snoop Dogg is popular with some Americans who still watch linear TV, his lack of education fails to impress a lot of other Americans. I think it's sad that we've sent someone with a muddied background (obstruction of justice, and making false statements to federal investigators) and separately, someone who many Americans find distasteful and under-educated to an international event where we the people are supposed to feel proud of those who represent us. read more

I'm not an Olympics junkie but I can be persuaded to check in on the highly edited sixteen day festival from Paris every few days. The same lackadaisical approach also seems to be the core underpinning of NBC's multi-billion dollar investment in the Games. Apparently, no one at the Peacock Network bothered to audition any of their announcers believing that a former NFL great (Peyton Manning,) a tongue-tied daytime tall show host/Pop Star (Kelly Clarkson,) a rotating gaggle of screaming former Olympians and the unendurable presence of Snoop Dogg are enough to bribe full attention from the casual fan. It's not but... it sure is fun trying to decipher endless tropes of banal commentary and pointless screaming into the mic. It almost makes one look forward to the commercial breaks... almost. Two stars for the comedy and a tin medal to NBC. read more

Had the opportunity to attend a taping of Kelly Clarkson show. It was a 5 hour experience, but well managed . They kept you informed throughout the process. The only comment is we followed the instructions on the ticket and stayed outside the entrance as instructed and found majority of the attendees did not , and were lined up inside. They had a lounge to wait in with bathrooms, a selfie booth and ample seating. It was a fun experience. read more

As a venue to shopping and shows I'd give this a 4/5. We've had the pleasure of seeing the late night shows featuring Jimmy Fallon and Seth Myers there. Interesting profile web site process to get you in on tickets; if you put in the time to do that work, chances are you'll have a shot at getting there early and having a shot in studio. No options, and no compensation or any attempt to make up for the egregious harm. The representative we spoke with blamed us because the account was checked from a phone not from the Xfinity website. Seriously? We used the account on Friday. They deleted the account on Friday. I repeat, no warning was given! We even spoke with a company representative on Saturday who let us change the account's password WITHOUT TELLING US THE EMAIL HAD BEEN DELETED. We tried using the account again today and were told it's gone, gone, gone. Comcast/Xfinity is notorious for poor customer service, but this is beyond poor. It's cruel. read more

Why am NBC review? Aside from the obvious, I gotta shout out to some pretty awesome programming throughout the years. Shows like Seinfeld, Law & Order, Friends, Family Ties, Miami Vice, Cheers, Monk, 30 Rock, House, 3rd Rock From the Sun, Chicago Fire, Med and M.D., and of course, Saturday Night Live. Dating myself now, I gotta mention some pretty cool classic TV with Alfred Hiitchcock, I Dream of Jeannie, Columbo, Hill Street Blues, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, The Golden Girls, and the list goes on. But it's especially significant today because it's Sept. 8, as it was this was the date in 1966 when the very first episode of Star Trek "The Original Series" aired on NBC, entitled "The Man Trap." People around planet earth celebrate "Star Trek Day" today in honor of the 56th anniversary of the original Star Trek series, and it's legacy as one of the most successful, best stories, films, and TV shows in history. (Yes I am a trekkie :-) I seriously looked forward every week to each new episode of Star Trek, and many years later that translated to watching every episode of TNG (Star Trek: The Next Generation) with my daughter. Popped in for a taping of the Amber Ruffin Show back in September. The welcome crew did a fantastic job in lining all of us, directing us through various checkpoints and keeping us energized while waiting to be seated in the studio audience. One of my highlights was seeing the old SNL photos on the way. Gift shop is a cool place to stop by for a few photos with backdrops and fun paraphernalia of some of your favorite NBC shows. Definitely would recommend getting tickets for one of the shows filmed there if possible while visiting NYC. read more

NBC Steals & Deals with Jillian is a disgrace. They do not tell you in any very visable way or verbally the items you purchase are at your own risk. There are no refunds or exchanges regardless if they arrive broken or defective. I found that out when I tried to contact them on their website. I ordered 2 watches. One watch the charger stopped working after a couple weeks. The second watch needs a new band and there is no one to contact to get one. The brand is Da Fit and they have no contact information on the net and NBC 10 in NY will not respond. In addition an hour after I purchaed the watch it came up on my screen on 2 other sites for the exact same price Steals & Deals was selling it for. It was no special bargain. So the only Steal was they took my money. The Deal was Buyer Beware you will get screwed. I will NEVER buy from them again! Too unprofessioanl and don't like Stealers. read more

My husband and I stopped in here while wandering around one day and decided to take a look in their store. They have so many goofy and cute old TV show items. I got myself a Bayside Tigers shirt and a Friends shirt. If you want to be part of the audience in a show they recommend you come in early that morning to have your name put down. You then show up two hours or more before the show starts to wait in line and see if you get in. I have no patience to wait in a line that long so we chose not to even try to see a taping. I was very excited when I read about Peacock in TV Guide. I marked down the date, I then paid via PayPal the amount of $29.99 you requested on 7/15. When you went live I found my computer could not support Peacock and I got an email saying acct was canceled and refund would be remitted. I have been waiting since then for my refund. I have enclosed copies of emails saying there were working on it up to the point the sent something to PayPal and then 8/11 requested return of the money, I have no idea where my money is , but feel this will be passed on to someone at Peacock/NBC who will help me out. A month of this is all I can take, I know this is a new company , part of a giant company , I am one person , I wanted Peacock but would now I want to just get my $29.99 back and close the door on this mess . read more

Mecum Auctions may make great and flashy Television and sell advertising for NBC, but perhaps you guys should also do a show on all of those of us who have been "burned" by these unethical, fraudulent and auctioneers who misrepresent and allow misrepresentation by vehicle sellers without recourse. Mecum has "misrepresentation" language and warnings to Sellers in their directions, but treats Buyer's as the "bad guys" and push, push, push and hide behind their "as-is" clause, even though they also charge a hefty 10% fee to both Buyer and Sellers. Apparently Mecum / and NBC are making so much money from these flashy and sensationalized auction productions that ethics, morals and honesty have been eliminated as characteristics of the past. There is no face of people who have been "screwed" by these unscrupulous characters, and no concern that when hard working people spend their hard earned money for something that has been represented in writing as being accurate, that such is accurate. Why don't you consider working with ethical business operators rather than unethical folks who steal and cheat to make millions of dollars from honest folks. NBC should do the right thing, investigate thoroughly and use its power to expose the other side of this story. Now that would be "real news" and hopefully encourage Mecum to come clean and right the wrongs that they are involved with daily and generally go unpublished. read more

i am giving 4 stars cause nbc news has decent respectable news people with pat battle, bruce beck and uncle al roker leading the way and the gift shop is not a overpriced tourist trap. i have been to the outdoor concert area when sia performed (was force to take my godfathers daughter who is a fan , weird gal but it was fun).the local news crew do a good job giving the news without over doing it compared to the national crew who think they are celebs and feel the need to be worshiped by the audience . overall nbc is not bad and i do enjoy watching chicago med , chicago fire , chicago pd and sundy nite football . p.s. sista pat battle drop the weaves and now wears her hair natural and curly and i dig it. read more
