My husband and I live on a farm with lots of outside cats, plus my 5 inside cats and two dogs, who are now deceased, needless to say we're there a lot. Because the good Drs know our situation they work with us so we don't end up living outside with the friggin cats. Along the way there has been many surgeries to which I've never had any problems in the subsequent. The staff are good peoples. They've been through a lot with us, especially Millie, Laura and Sydney. A few times I called Laura crying and she was always so sweet and honest. She spoke to me when I called crying over whether or not to put my dog, Norman, down like I was a friend, not a client. Sooo I'm not sure who these meanie staff member are. With that being said I have some thoughts on the negative reviews. Firstly, I agree about the prices. They have risen substantially and I get why they upsets people, however, no one is entitled to treatment. It's a business, not a charity. In my opinion they shouldn't charge for nail trimming or ear cleaning if you're there for something else. I'm from Jersey where everything is 3x more expensive and my vets back home didn't charge for these services. Regardless, we have a choice to pay or not, like everyone else. Secondly, they ALWAYS provide an itemized quote. And will stick to it barring extenuating circumstances. I do not believe people who say they're hit with unexpected costs. Statistically speaking, we would have the same thing happen as some point. Some of the negative comments seem fantastical to me. And some of the writing is proof our education system is an abject failure. Anywho, I definitely recommend these guys. The level of care outweighs the cost. Just don't be poor, I suppose.

The first time I went here, I spent approximately five hours between waiting to be seen and actually seeing the veterinarian. I understand that emergencies happen and that walk-ins can be unpredictable, but this felt more like the clinic was severely overbooked and continuously pushing appointments back. Unfortunately, that experience was not an isolated incident. Yes, this clinic is affordable, and that is honestly about the only positive thing I can say. The hours are some of the most inconvenient I have ever encountered, particularly for people who work regular jobs. There seems to be very little consideration for clients who have work schedules and cannot simply drop everything during limited business hours. I currently have a rescue dog undergoing heartworm treatment, and dealing with the clinic regarding his appointments and pickup has been extremely frustrating. I had to drop him off Tuesday evening for a Wednesday appointment because the clinic does not open until I am already at work. He then had to stay Wednesday night and Thursday night, and I was told I could pick him up Friday. However, they close at noon on Fridays. I explained that, because I work, I might not be able to make it there before noon. Rather than offering a reasonable alternative, I was told they are open from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday--meaning my dog would potentially have to remain there for an additional day simply because their hours do not accommodate working clients. At this point, I am paying a significant amount of money for my pets' care, and unfortunately, the service and overall experience have not reflected what I am paying for. Affordable pricing does not make up for extremely long wait times, inconvenient hours, poor communication, and a complete lack of flexibility when it comes to something as basic as picking up your own pet. I don't know if I have mentioned this yet, but they also do not ever answer the phone and then send a text asking how they can help you. Honestly, the service has been so consistently frustrating that I wouldn't recommend taking a house fly here to receive veterinary care. I am so over it.
