I also found the questioning repetitive, particularly regarding the multiple properties involved in the case. In my experience, some of the same issues were revisited rather than addressed more efficiently. I was also surprised by some of the questions regarding my professional and construction experience. Some of them suggested to me a limited familiarity with basic construction terminology and practices, and I found certain questions confusing and not fully grounded in the work as it's actually performed. I respect the legal process and recognize that divorce litigation can be adversarial. However, I believe professionalism, civility, and respect should remain part of that process. Beth has been trying to settle this estate for over 9 months and has been paid over $150k in billable hours. Very long story short, Beth has resigned.
