My husband had a massage here with Juliette and said it was the best. Very nice front desk staff too.

Slap a giant saucer on your head, and folks will assume you're El-Aurian -- or perhaps just a starship bartender. Pop on a multi-tiered job that looks like Earth's Sydney Opera House, and you can pass for a religious leader on Bajor. Get yourself a nice wraparound curtain for the back of your head, and you can fit in with the Ferengi. That's why we were delighted to find the selection of hats at The Iron Horse. While we initially assumed this shop would only help us go undercover in the Old West, we soon discovered that it offered a very wide range of options for just about any secret mission. Sure, there's a great assortment of cowboy hats, and as soon as a member of my crew learns to ride a horse, I'll be sure to mosey in here and pick one up. But The Iron Horse also offers fedoras suitable for blending in at casinos. It has newsboy caps suitable for those starting out in the media business. It even has a glorious collection of steampunk hats that would come in mighty handy for those tasked with enforcing Starfleet's Temporal Prime Directive. My junior crew members settled for two classic choices. The chief engineer selected a black felt pork pie with a tasteful feather accent, ideal for their chosen disguise as high school hipster. My first officer selected an Australian oilskin hat, after testing every under-$50 hat in the store for its ability to help him utter a credible "G'day, mate!" While we were very happy with the crew members' chosen hats, I cannot in good conscience recommend The Iron Horse as an official Starfleet outfitter. The lone shopkeeper was notably unfriendly, at least until she became convinced that our junior crew members' extensive try-ons were going to lead to an actual purchase. Furthermore, while the older members of my crew were also interested in obtaining headgear, we were discouraged by the shopkeeper's claim that she would be closing at 6 (at the time, it was 5:30, and we were eager to fit in another couple of stops). However I did note that the store was still open when we passed by a little before 7 p.m. Perhaps we had a miscommunication? I am still learning Earth customs.

I can only speak for my own experience, but I went to see Dr. Sierra because I had been in intense pain all over my body for about a year and a half. I tried everything: drugs, physical therapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy, essential oils, and diet changes, but nothing was helping. After just one massage session with Dr. Sierra, my pain is gone. She used a variety of techniques to address my physical pain and helped me create a game plan moving forward. So, if you're looking for someone with a wealth of evidence-based knowledge who combines several different professions into a holistic, eclectic approach, examines problems through a nuanced, problem-solving perspective, and is respectful throughout the process, then I can confidently recommend Dr. Sierra and the wellness center also offers a variety of other fantastic offerings that will help you feel and look your best!!

There's a strong sense of mutual respect and collaboration in our working relationship and I feel like she really pays attention to what I bring to each appointment, whether that's a health challenge or a goal I have to increase my health. I also value that she has decades of experience treating thousands of patients *and* is always curious and eager to learn about advances and new findings related to improving health. And it's super cool to that my doctor is also my massage therapist! It really feels like the bodywork I receive from Dr. Sierra is taking into account the entirety of my health. What she offers in each massage session is customized for me. I leave feeling great and the tension in my neck/shoulders has significantly improved over these last few months. One more thing to note -- the Wellness Center is a beautifully designed building with lots of good vibes from the mindfulness, sound bath and yoga classes that take place in its central meeting and waiting room. Lots of natural lights and indoor plants. It's a hub for community wellness practices of all kinds.
