Got gas delivery second week in Jan. Fire didn't reignite, next day on checking cylinders could smell gas then noticed hissing sound. I called this company a few months back to get my gas boiler serviced. I eventually got an appointment many weeks later. The service man did the service and said he needed to order some parts to fix a leakage. He never got back to me. Some time later I rang the company to ask for a follow up to the part that needed to be ordered. The lady on the phone said she would follow up right away and get back to me. She never got back to me. I find this really appalling service. The service of the gas boiler itself was not cheap and I feel it has left my boiler worse off as its not working properly. read more

Don't waste your time. Arranged for a gas boiler service a month ago. No return phone call. Going somewhere else.

Terrible service. I walked in to this premises in February, and was met with a friendly guy, who couldn't answer many of my questions but tried to find the answers. He recommended a site visit, and I agreed. Two weeks later i missed several calls from someone trying to organist this visit. When i got back to them, a visit was arranged for a friday evening. A guy called Martin came to our house, and we were very impressed with his knowledge, and pretty much decided we would buy our stove from them, have them fit it, do the chimney liner -the lot! He took some photos and told us he would be in touch by Monday at the latest. We never heard form him again. I have phoned, and tried to follow up, but i just got the nice guy again, who was apologetic, and said he would follow up with Martin. Nothing since, and that is well over a month ago. I think he did us a favour, if their pre sales service is this bad, i dread to think what their after sales is like. read more

Really disappointed with the service from this company. I shopped around and got numerous quotes. While Fordes were a little more expensive I felt like i wanted to keep my business local so went with them. There were numerous delays and long periods where I heard nothing from them at all. When I put some pressure on a guy was sent out who was very surly and not very communicative. In the end the job was not even completed, cracks resulted in the chimney which were only partly repaired. I had to get someone else out to fix them. My advice, go elsewhere where they might value your business, I wish I had. read more
