And if this was the owner , shame on her! I also looked at other reviews to see if anyone had the same experience, which they did. So here we are .... This was my first visit to Cashiers, NC and was excited to explore the town. This little shopping center was my first stop. I went into Nora &Co and the lady working behind the counter never looked up. I said a friendly "Good Morning " and was returned with an unfriendly reply. Almost as if I bothered her. I looked around the store was very cute. I told her how excited I was to be there for the first time. I asked about the layout of the town and where most of the shops were. She seriously looked annoyed (or that I wasn't good enough to be in there) and said "there is a rack outside with a magazine that has maps". Wow! She missed the perfect opportunity to say welcome , we are glad you chose to come in and to also give information about the town. It that point I decided not to purchase anything and leave. It was very uncomfortable. The other shops were all very nice and friendly

The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful! They exchanged texts with pictures of the stuffy to ensure the correct item was being shipped and sent it out promptly!
