And Shahi Nan Kebab is the place to go. Not only do they give free poppadoms upon arrival, with a good helping of their unique chilli sauce... Ah, their chilli sauce. I could write lines and lines about the crunchiness of the fresh onions and the tangy yet spicy flavour of it, honestly, a work of genius. What was I talking about again? Oh yes, food, my favourite subject. Moving swiftly on, we went for a portion of seekh kebabs, fries , mutton tikka and their infamous, atleast in my eyes, haleem. Their kebabs and mutton tikka are both delightful and great for all those fellow meat eaters out there. But the haleem is to die for. Served with fresh chillis, ginger root and fried onions garnished on the top, it's the right balance of spice and bursts with flavour. If you're going to pay a visit to Shahi Nan, then I absolutely recommend this dish. Overall, a great place and it never fails to disappoint.

You see,our friend (who lives in the area) is always posting pics on facebook late at night showing the delights that this place has to offer. So over time you convince yourself that not only do you need a Shirley K in your life,you actively crave one! So festivities and alcohol out of the way we made our way staggeringly for a kebab,and we weren't dissapointed. Ange had a donner on naan with mild sauce,and I went for a chicken on naan with chili sauce. Both were really lovely,although I had eyes bigger than my belly and couldn't eat it all. If you're visiting to place an order, you can watch your food being cooked through a large glass window into the kitchen. I always find this gets the taste spuds salivating in anticipation of the meal to come! If you're ordering food for delivery (delivery is free for orders of £9.50 or more within a 3 mile radius) then delivery times are very quick, typically within 40 mins. All orders come with free papadom, onion salad and mint sauce. The food is tasty and I recommend the Chicken Chat on Puri, the Balti Saag Paneer and my favourite, a Cheese Naan!
