We went to pick up our camper to sign the paperwork and do a walk through. We noticed during the walk through that the right side of the awning was not adjusting properly. When we pointed this out Zach (Service Manager) that stated that the awning just needs to be used & lubricated, then proceeded to give my husband a can of silicone. The camper has been sitting in our driveway since it was brought home. On 07/30/2023 we noticed that the awning was coming off the camper. My husband called to get the warrantee started. On 08/03/2023 the awning completely fell off the camper. Thank goodness my children were not playing by this when it happened or when we were driving down the road. My husband got in touch with the dealership & was told that the awning has a recall, WE WERE NEVER TOLD ABOUT THIS RECALL WHEN PURCHASING THE CAMPER. To try to get this issued resolved my husband spoke to Scott Miller. He was extremely rude, and NO help, he stated to him that "we bought a cheap model and we should have purchased a more expensive one" (pretty much he called us poor and idiots for purchasing this) My husband asked if the warranty for the camper could be extended due to their negligence and was told "absolutely not he sells his campers as is." My husband also asked if we could be compensated for the deposits we lost on our upcoming trip and was also told no. They are willing to fix this awning, but now we have lost out on a deposit for a vacation we had planned on 08/11/2023, along with vacation time from work for both of us, our twin boys (Who are 5) are now extremely upset that they no longer are going. SO THANK YOU AVALON RV CENTER FOR SELLING US A CAMPER DISHONESTLY. YOU KNEW ABOUT THE RECALL AND DECIDED NOT TO TELL US. All of this could have been avoided if they were just honest with us during our walk through, and we would have had no issue with the camper having a recall if we would have known.

Getting very frustrated now as they are very good at taking our money, but not so good once they have it. To be fair, I understand it was during the holiday season, but we sent the money December 19th, and despite repeated calls (which we had to make at midnight from Korea) and repeated E-mails we cannot get them to answer the simple question "when do we bring it in, and how long does it need to stay?". At one point we were promised an answer by December 28th, but since then all we get are evasions. When we call, the person we need to talk to is out (seems to be out a lot) or whoever we get hold of says we are waiting to hear from somebody in service. We are trying to book time in April so plenty of notice, and were told the schedule was open then, but STILL don't have an appointment. Since we have to book a hotel to stay while we are in town, the longer we wait, the higher the prices go. We also cannot schedule anything else (we are stopping there during a trip across America) until we have those dates. This review does not encompass their work, but with customer service this bad I have a bad feeling about the company in general. If there are problems, let us know, don't leave us hanging for weeks, and it is not like this should be a difficult task. **Update: We finally got our appointment, and the work was completed. I will say that the work appears excellent, and the onsite experience was stellar. Trying to make new appointments for more work, and running into the same lack of responsiveness. I would say Advanced RV does great work, but getting them to respond is like trying a wake a teenager up in the morning after a rock concert.

We looked at Roadtrek and the Mercedes-Airstream collaboration, and they are very nice, but they cannot compare to the RVs built by Advanced RV. Unlike the others, ARV is completely custom. The process begins with a visit to the factory that can last days, as you work with the staff to select EVERYTHING in your custom RV. From the engine, suspension and mechanical details, all the way to the color schemes, floorings and fixtures, you and the ARV team customize each item in the RV. Once everything is selected, there is a constant flow of information from ARV to the customer, as they keep you up to date on their progress. If you have any questions, or there are any items that the craftsmen at ARV are not certain about, you can call them, or they will contact you. And you don't just leave a message. Everyone at ARV is available to talk to you about any question or concern you might have, and that includes Mike Neundorfer, the company's owner. We just took possession of our new ARV, "Huginn," and are simply blown away with quality and level of workmanship. Everything is first rate. We took our new RV on a cross country road trip to return home, and even took her back into the mountains outside Santa Fe, NM. The road was narrow and rough, but there was almost none of the rattle, shake and clatter that I have come to associate with RV travel. On the freeways, the RV was so quiet it might as well have been a well made SUV. We simply could not be happier with our new RV, and with the entire experience of working with Advanced RV. RCD dealer profit greed has left me feeling used and foolish, I felt compelled to put this long cautionary tale out on Yelp seeing practices haven't improved much in the past 2 years in other customer reviews. Maybe someone else will not be so trusting yes admittedly now, gullible, had to share take it public. Just recently 8/2025, I it hit me why "Avalon" wanted our checks. Unaware, they were bought out by a large supercenter, RCD, while our RV went in for service in 11/3/2023. Then, mega centers RCD used our money under "Avalon's" good name, making their new acquisition purchase look good and a chunk of money coming from us as hostages. Overall, our experience was incredibly frustrating. We finally received our camper back on July 26, 2024. To summarize, since 6/20/23, we have been put through at this point a myriad of repair promises, delays too numerous to even count anymore, personnel issues and turn over at the dealership causing more delays - which should never be a customer's delay problem but a goal for the dealership to make right especially almost a year after the first contact, numerous false dates of parts ordered by many staff and scheduled RV return to us dates as early as end of 2/2024, bumping 6 weeks every time we asked, none that were kept. I could detail much more from my notes on this journey, but let's just keep it simple for Yelp. Notably, upon long awaited 2024 return as well as loss big $$ on our seasonal site being empty all year, we discovered issues. To name a few; he seals were not fully finished can see daylight through the back door, the windows were sagging, the rig needed cleaned, smeared cabinets/tables, etc a ton of dust / debris inside, carpet was now worn somehow, some odd sand under the wallpaper in places, seal came off the arms of the awning, water heater door was supposed to be new - nope it was a dented one and there was an unusual haze like clearcoat overspray in the interior & sliding door that we were unable to remove and we received a different recliner with a cracked material on the back. We rarely use the recliners, it is likely it was sitting around & that they had swapped ours with someone else during the almost 9 month wait or damaged in transit. In the end why let RCD take it again, just got it back we gave up corporate greed wins. Thought in 2024, it's time to get a different rig and wash our hands of it; well maybe but still a year later, interest rates went sky high since covid, still waiting. I'm sure if anyone responds, it will be a "canned response" or we would have made it right upon return. Honestly, I don't have another 9 months of time OR patience, to wait to be ghosted and lied to again, but I can share to others to be cautious.

I live in my camper and scheduled the repairs far out, so I could get it to the shop after camping season. I sent an email to the manager in April, never heard back. When I called 2 months prior to the repair, the manager said he would take care of it. I stopped in 3 weeks prior to drop off. Evidently the manager was no longer there, and never passed along the repair needs. The new person said they would order my replacement recliner so it would be there when I dropped my camper off, and get reimbursed. Not wait for preauthorization. They didn't order it! And when I asked about it when I got there, he could of told me. They didn't tell me they waited over a week to order. They were supposed to have it 2 days, had it 2 weeks! Thankfully someone allowed me to sleep on their couch. Customer service is bad. Horrible Follow up. Horrible communication.

Upon my arrival, I was welcomed and a Service Advisor (SA) got the work underway. The tech diagnosed and fixed the problems within a couple of hours. The SA indicated that I needed to pay the Dometic warranty charges in advance to All Season RV, and I would be refunded on my VISA card when Dometic had paid the service facility for the warranty charge submission. All seemed fine and on the up-and-up. I waited a month and received no word from All Seasons RV and no refund on my VISA. I contacted the service facility and spoke with a different SA. He checked out my invoice and claim. I was informed that the previous SA had been terminated for incompetence. I was also informed that no warranty claims had been submitted to Dometic on my behalf. On further searching, the SA indicated that no photos of serial numbers for the two appliances had ever been taken by the tech carrying out the work. I was asked to open up the AC unit and the Fridge and photograph the serial numbers and forward those to the SA at All Seasons RV. After the extra effort, I received a call from the SA indicating they could not submit the Dometic claims for me. and I would need to submit them personally. The SA forwarded a Dometic form. According to the SA, I would now need to package up all the information and submit it to Dometic on my own time. It could take at least another month to receive a re-reimbursement from Dometic, assuming the claim would be approved. Does this sound like a well-documented process within the All Season RV business? Does this sound like the kind of service and run around you will want to receive from an RV Service firm? At 72 years old, I just do not have the time to hit my head against the wall multiple times, expecting different results. All Season RV should have stood behind their service agreement and just refunded the amount ($187) to me directly. This is no way to do business!
