However, if you're looking for something more substantial, they also do some serious tasty 3-curries-for-£3 deal which is just the thing to line your stomach after a night on the tiles. All in one place, run by a friendly, and from what I've seen, very, very patient staff with a quick and efficient way of moving the line right along. I've only been here to grab something to go late at night, so I've only witnessed Hunters full of people as lit up as the sky on New Years. Including a short fellow who was super appreciative upon receiving his pizza: "You don't understand. I thought you'd overlook me because I'm short and you'd give my pizza to someone else! And then I'd be standing here without a pizza. Thank you so, so, much. I am really happy right now." "We would never overlook any of our customers, sir. You are very welcome." How heartwarming was that interlude? Anyway, I've had a few items here - chicken kebabs with chips, and chicken biryani. Both were serviceable and the prices very reasonable, which is pretty much all you could ask for after midnight. That said, true to their name - they also serve something that differentiates them from most other ethnic late night joints: game curry. Partridge, pheasant, venison, quail, rabbit, and duck. All on offer. Now, I've had most of the game described above at one time or another in my life, but in a curry? Never even heard of the said lot being in a curry before. My mum's been holding out on me with the rabbit makhani all this time, apparently. I am definitely intrigued, though. Intrigued enough to wander in at 1am and try some quail korma? One visit and I love Panicos…read more I'll give you the highlights: - Handy location in Chorlton, near a number of bars and the tram and bus stops - so it's easy to roll out of a bar, into Panicos, and then home with your kebab. - The shop is small but clean and tidy. - Prices are reasonable - I paid less than £5 for a kebab on naan. - The staff are great! My lamb kofte broke on the grill and the staff member insisted on 'repairing' it by putting some chicken shawarma on top. No complaints here! He also gave me a piece of shawarma to eat while waiting. I'd be much happier to stand in queues in general if I were given food every time. - Obviously the proof is in the pudding - the food was delicious. Salad and sauces were fresh and plentiful. The meat was juicy and full of flavour. Next time I think I'll go for chicken shawarma all the way - I usually steer clear of chicken expecting it to be dry and bland but this was super tasty.

Big, filling, cheap food that tastes healthy in comparison to any other fast food. The kind of kebab you could go for with your mum.

There's a really good selection of veggie options here- veggie Chow Mein, veggie Vermicelli etc. But the Sweet and Sour chicken is really good, if you eat meat. This Chinese take out is everything you want it to be and more: value for money, friendly service and good enough food. A word of warning though: we once ordered delivery from here (for just a £1 charge) and it took absolutely forever so order early if you're thinking of doing this. We may have just been unlucky but even so. Chop Chop didn't exactly live up to its name that time.

You can tell the food is not bad because even the photos of it look good, and they are usually always a bad idea (see photos). The meals are remarkably cheap as well and though it might be more expensive to get prawns and the like, its still a ridiculous £4! This is at elast a quid cheaper than anywhere else I know. I also like the style of choosing a meat or fish and then a sauce seperately, as opposed to them being listen on the menu several times under each heading, i.e. Chicken in Cashew Nut, Prawn in Cashew Nut, Beef in Cashew Nut and so on, what is this larking about for? Just be straight up, you've got some cashew nut sauce in that kitchen haven't you? They also do a 'mixed meat' option, but that doest quite sound right to me, so I've always had prawn or chicken. For starters I recommend the soups, especially the noodle soups, which come with beef or chicken. I've got so say though, even though its only soup its damn filling so you might want to skip the delicious pre-main course treat if you aren't starving. Having said that, you could just force it down, along with some prawn crackers and prawn toast (very good here), and you'll still have only spend a few quid.
