They hit me up on my instagram told me they were better than the service I was already using. They set up a meeting and in the meeting they said we are amazing about communication. That is something you don't get at your current guy. So I took the leap. And everything since then has been an absolute nightmare!! First they started by setting up my direct deposit with their payroll system with ADP. Which doesn't seem like a big deal but what it means is now they have the ability to withdrawal money from your account with ease at anytime whenever they want. And better yet they will give you 0 warning when they do. The day before a huge trip I had $750 taken out of my account without warning. First they will act like it's not a big deal. Then they will give you a crap excuse and explanation and when you ask for an invoice they let ADP take the blame. $750 bucks is one thing. A whole other thing is the random $5, $7, $12, $89, $125 charges that happen like every week. At this point I'm so confused by what's going on that I'm calling and texting them trying to get to the bottom of things. And they let me know some of those are valid charges and some are accidental and will be refunded. With the last person I used for taxes they had me fill out a single page paper questionnaire and then they literally did all the work sent me the itemized invoices. It was simple easy and I didn't have to do any work. These guys. Will ask you to do a new chore every week on different softwares you've never explored. When you're doing the recruiting game and have no time for this type of stuff it's pretty frustrating to be told over and over that you need to do a bunch of chores for them. And God forbid you ever show any disdain for having to do all of this work for them. They will belittle you and tell you that it's not a lot and that it is all easy work. Yeah maybe if you went to school for accounting for four years dude. No my experience with these guys was absolutely horrible. I recommend everyone stay as far away from them as possible especially if you're in D2D. As sales people we pay people to take care of our taxes not to make us feel small, belittle us, shame us for not knowing how to run their complex softwares (that claim over and over again are so easy), or shame us for not having a crazy amount of time to do the ton of chores they give you, and then the worst part is all the random charging of your accounts, total lack of transparency and lack of itemized invoices. I have since talked to several accounts while search for a new one. I have let them read every message sent between me and these guys. These separate accountants have said that they believe it is asinine that TAG tax would use ADP for payroll on an LLC that employs one person. On a massive company it makes sense. They also said that they think it's crazy there are random charges that need to be refunded. I get that people make mistakes but it's more the lack of accountability and pointing the blame to ADP constantly rather than saying maybe it's our fault for using this payroll in the first place. This other accountant said that you don't need payroll that often and certainly not at that price. They warned me to get out while I could because these guys were not just overcharging me but actually running me to the ground. Bottom line these guys treat you like garbage. Talk down to you. Charge you without your permission. Run you for a loop for your money. It's ridiculous and no one should do business with them without reading this first. And I will make sure that the D2D space is aware of this scam before giving these dudes a dime.
