When we were there they were open and clean and stocked with toilet paper. They were out of soap in the dispenser. They don't have doors on the stalls, but they do have partitions between the toilets. Shade structures- They have many trees and a shade structure with picnic benches under it. We also saw people who brought their own pop up tents and BBQs. Benches- They also have cement benches Paved Paths- When we were there we say lots of walkers and joggers on the foot path that goes around the park. Play ground- They have a really large play area for the kids We came early in the morning on Saturday, July 25, 2026 to assist with laying our bark around the trees and surrounding areas. The parks department delivered the bark into large piles around the park. Some of the bark was freshly chipped and still green while other bark was old, dry and molding. The fresh bark was easier to work with though heavier. The old bark was lighter, but more dusty. There was a group of 20 or 30 of us who arose early to beat the heat and to beautify the park. They probably used to have bark in these areas, but it disintegrated over time. We laid down bark around the trees 3 inches thick with a leeway of 6 inches between the trunk and the start of the bark. And for the part that butt up to the back fence we spread a layer there with a clearance so it didn't creek onto the trail. It was nice to give back to the community.

There is also a rope/spiderweb structure that's fun for kids to climb. There were rocks and fake logs on the ground that were easily accessible for littles. There are also swings. I love that the park is a good distance from the street in every direction. There is a large grassy area and a pathway that separates the park from the street. Several people were walking and biking on the path. There are some picnic tables underneath an overhead structure, which would provide good shade in the summer. There weren't many trees providing shade on the play area, which I could see being an issue in the summer. The big thing all parents want to know: yes, there is a bathroom!
