I have nothing but amazing things to say about Nemours Children's hospital. My son had been battling with a weird lump in his leg that wouldn't go away. After having an ultrasound done, our pediatrician (also Nemours affiliated) said that we should go to the ER. So that's what we did. We were seen immediately by multiple staff and it was determined that surgery was needed. We had to wait many hours due to him needing an empty stomach, so we were put in a patient room for the wait. All staff that we interacted with were kind, patient, explained everything in details that we could understand. They were also kind and patient with my son who was understandably quite scared. His surgery went well and they were able to release him to go home within a few hours after surgery, (though we were given the option to stay, my son wanted to go home). Even though it was scary for the family, I always felt at ease bc of the caring attitude of the staff. read more

Used to be a great hospital for kids, the quality of care in recent years has decline drastically, customer service is a disappointment, not the hospital it used to be. read more
