The owner is friendly and seems to know every customer that came in. He made the fish fresh and gave a generous portion of fries and peas. The amount of food is a lot for me and for a good price too! The chips were a combination of fresh and reheated from earlier on, so the tastes weren't that great. Only a quarter of the chips were edible the rest were either hard as nails or overcooked; the gravy was too salty to the point of almost being bitter. The only positive point from this was that i wasn't able to over indulge. I won't be returning anytime soon, however if anyone wants fast food with the help of eating less than half of what you paid for. Then this place is for you.

The fish was seasoned with salt and vinegar (no tartar sauce) and I enjoyed it a lot. The portion size was also generous. Unfortunate, I didn't get to try it fresh (I had a ten minute walk before I got to eat) but I would definitely come back and hopefully try it fresh.
