I lost my daughter rather suddenly when she developed a disease requiring an organ transplant and so we wound up in a city far from family where, unfortunately, she died before the transplant was possible. One of her brothers searched for cremation services on line and we happily discovered the Neptune Society. The only negative was a bit of a confusing first phone call to, I think, and answering service in the middle of the night on a weekend - but once we were able to speak directly with the staff of the Neptune Society, it was smooth sailing. They were excellent in their assistance, advice, practical and useful information, and we found their pleasant and genuine tone uplifting. We had lots of issues, being out of state, and they handled every detail without a bump. At no time did they attempt to upsell us anything we didn't directly request. They were transparent about pricing and we found the cost extremely reasonable. They let us know when the cremation was occurring, and contacted us again to pick up her ashes (our choice; they would have shipped them had we requested). That experience was also excellent. We simply felt we were in the hands of empathetic, friendly and supportive professionals who knew what they were doing. The day my family found out my brother wasn't going to make it we knew we wanted to have him cremated but had no idea where to start. When I contacted Neptune's I was greeted with answers to questions I didn't even know to ask. After speaking with Rob I called him multiple times throughout the night with more questions to which he answered without hesitation. When we were came upon obstacle which made us think we would not be able to go forward with the cremation Rob transferred me to a wonderful lady, Mrs. Ren. She contacted whomever she needed to, and took the burden off my family during this difficult time and made it possible to follow through with the wishes of the family to have my brother cremated. She let us know what would be going on every step of the way which is exactly what we needed being that we had no idea what to expect. She notified us as soon as his remains were available for pick up and was made available as soon as we were ready to transfer him to his permanent urn. I would highly recommend Neptunes to anyone who is looking to have a loved one cremated or looking to plan ahead for yourself or loved one. They are very affordable and you get so much more than just a service provided from them. They are there for you every step of the way. read more

My father took sick mid November 2016 n the doctor gave him 6 mos to live. Sent him home n hospice took over. My father passed away March 2, 2017. He only lasted 3 n half mos. Rin n john was very very helpful. Both of them did not try to sell you things u didn't need. I called john to get all the things I needed n the price. Abt 2 weeks r alittle more time passed n I never put any money down, but I wanted to grant my father wishes. Then my father took a turn a few weeks later n I still didn't give neptune any money. I called John n said I need to do this tonite cause I not sure if my father will make it thru the night. John came to the house at around 7 r 8pm n we wrote up all the paper work. How many funerals homes would do that. My father was cremated n I'm glad a choose Neptune a funeral home would have cost double. Thank you very much. Yall made this very easy for the family. Also thank you for dressing up the table at church. Everything turned out wonderful. When I get a down payment together I will do it ahead so my son don't have to go thru that. My mom recently passed away two years and ten days after my dad. They both had made arrangements with Neptune thanks to my father. Everything was thoughtfully organized and presented to my family in such a kind and gentle way. I can't say enough good things about Any Delery. She is so sweet and professional at a time when we are not only deeply saddened by the loss of our mother but, also needing guidance to get everything done right. Kelly with Neptune Society was a wonderful help and compassionate at this difficult time with the loss of our 4 month old granddaughter. My family and I couldn't be more pleased with the services we received from Neptune. I called late one afternoon, and a Neptune representative was at my house on the Northshore early the next morning. During that meeting, I signed the initial paperwork and paid for Neptune's cremation services. All the documents needing notarization of my signature were completed within the next couple of business days. My wife died a week after my first call, and everything went exactly as promised.
