The entire date didn't take very long but luckily there are tons of places to go after within walking distance. They were busy but we still felt like the staff was attentive and walked us through the full process. This is a luxury experience but you get both the time making candles together plus the candles, so I'd say it's worth the money. There's tons of scents and vessels to choose from and we had a blast picking and making them. Anyone with any level of "craftiness" would enjoy coming here!

We bought my sister her scent in the big perfume bottle as a gift from everyone. I also bought myself the car scent bottle and it was about 30$. There is a bathroom that was clean and the staff were helpful. I would totally go back for a girls day outing, we had a lot of fun! You have plenty of time and material to mix scents and try so many different options. After your scents are created, you can have them made into ANY of their products from hand soap and shower gel to bath bubbles and perfume. They have so many different products from $18-70 and you pay for the product you want. They will make your products on the spot and you take them home. Experience: we made a reservation and had our 5 month one with us in a car seat/stroller. The inside is warm and inviting yet bright and airy. Our baby was able to stay in her carseat on the chair with us the whole time however it's not really a "baby" space so know your baby prior to taking them. They do allow walk ins (I recommend making a reservation) and another couple joined us as walk ins. Cassidy was our experience guide and she was fantastic! She explained all of the steps and was there for any questions however allowed us to do our own thing. It was so fun to mix up different scents and see what stood out and what you thought you would like but didn't. We ordered 3 products and after Cassidy made each one, she had us smell to ensure it was exactly what we wanted. Tips: -Make sure you have your phone for the experience. You will log your scents and create your product mixes through the QR code. -The length of the experience is based on you. We decided to do 2 scents each and then decided on products. Our appt was at 11:15a and we left at 12:05p however, the couple that walked in and joined us, made 1 scent with 1 product and was gone prior to us. -All of their products are refillable with a 20% off discount. You can refill them with the scent you had or make a completely new one! Just bring in your used container and go from there. We absolutely loved our experience and will be back! They just opened a location downtown Detroit and we have already told several of our family members to make reservations!

They have a lot of great local artists showcasing their work with a lot of Michigan-themed items. The store is full of fun items to decorate with as well as a unique gift to give a friend. Definitely, give yourself some time to browse around in the store because there is a lot to see and take in! The store isn't all that big but everything is styled and displayed in such a way that it all just seems to go together, you may miss a gem if you just give an area a quick look! They seemed to get new things pretty frequently so feel free to come back often and you'll always find something new! Both of us brought our own vessel to use (we had also done some thrifting), but there were several options in-store as well. The team at Sable did a great job explaining the process to us and overseeing our steps. They were not at all rushed, so we had a fun, relaxing time choosing our scents, mixing our oils, coming up with fun names for our creations, and chatting and catching up with each other. Meter was very easy to use and operate. It's located next to a few restaurants In a strip type of building setup. The store itself is not very big but it's packed from top to bottom with lots of lovely stones, jewelry, cards and artists items to take home. The space is used very well and items are displayed for you to look over, maybe Smell or even touch. There was not someone present to do a reading when we arrived but they do have a website where you can reserve a time or they do have a up-and-coming Black Friday deal for the holiday that provides reading a discount. They were very friendly and accept credit cards. I'm definitely planning on coming back for a reading.
