A friend recommended that I visit D&S Motors for a pre-MOT service. The mechanic recommended what work was needed and reassured me that some of the work I was told was needed to pass the MOT was in fact unnecessary. He gave me a quote for all the work including parts then or there and told me to bring in the next day which was a Saturday. On the Monday I received a phone call telling me it had passed its MOT. The man I spoke to 'Dave' was friendly and very approachable and I would be happy to recommend this garage to anyone.

It can be hard to find things around the store, and unfortunately the staff can be quite elusive, but if you know what you're looking for, it can be an ok shopping experience. I particularly like their sales where you can pick up some real bargain if you look-this is more on little accessories for the car though, rather than on things you would need. The supermarket sells a decent range of fresh food and groceries, with a good line in locally produced ready meals.
