On the fence on this one, in a way this is a little less hectic than some of the larger Brazilian…read moreairports, but the way things are situated, one really should know the following ahead of time: 1) Going from international to domestic, you have got to have at least three hours in between flights. To go from one to the other involves getting on a bus for awhile, past all the parking, rental car places to the point that you'll think you're on the wrong bus...then you miss your flight. 2) Need to exchange money? Must do it immediately as you get off the international flight, no don't go to the Starbucks first. By the time you go to the domestic area there is no exchange. Oh and if you need to buy a phone card, cash only! Credit cards accepted for almost anything else, but if you can't make a phone call, after missing a flight...chances are the US cell will not work here, at all. Mine became a tiny iPad, nothing more. 3) You gotta leave there and go about a block out for good food that is not ridiculously expensive. Stay away from the buffet by weight, huge ripoff! Perhaps I would have liked this airport more had I not gotten stuck there for close to 10 hours with a kiddo. Don't think I will avoid it per se but will definitely plan much better to allow for enough time there to make sure I don't have to spend way too much time there.
