This company has one office in Las Vegas and one in Shanghai. I live under a unit they "rent/manage". They come in my home and take photos of my bathroom and cut holes in the ceiling. They collect rent while sewage from their unit leaks into mine. They made me feel like I am actually under attack by China. They even attempted to go after my mom, over 60. I made criminal complaints at NRED (514a), FBI, Consumer protection agency,.FTC, SOS, they take advantage of HOAs and force them to use funds and energy for tenant management and the costs for units maintenance.. and don't even fix anything. read more

They expect you to magically turn their 20yr old properties back into new form. Like that's the renters responsibility? They don't even want to repair anything and will make you do it. They hold $2,398 all the time and had my money...At the end they charged me $450 for no reason. Also very rude in person & over the phone. Not PROFFESIONAL Employees...one time their Technician came to my unit DRUNK and didn't speak English !!! Very first month after I move in, my place was broke in, because they didn't changed the locks, as was promised ! Somebody was in the place and look for cash $$$. I have nothing good to say about this company! If you look at my reviews, I normally only post positive reviews. However, people need to be aware of how unprofessional they are! My ex and I originally rented a Townhouse from them in September of 2014 or 2015. I can't remember exactly... When we walked in, the office reeked of fish. I didn't like the way they conducted business and did not want to deal with them. She assured me she'd deal with them, which she did. There was trash in the garage. We had asked them to get rid of it, prior to moving in. On the move in day, the trash had not been removed. We called and they sent someone. He wanted to walk in the house and do a inspection which had been done prior to move in. The house was a POS. Old carpets, closets falling apart, bad appliances, etc. On several occasions, she came home crying, because of how she was treated at that office. They one time lied, and said something had already been mailed out. When we got the letter it was postmarked for the following day! Anytime we asked for something they said they had to get permission from the property owner. I looked up our address on the Clark County Assessor Website. Only to find out the Property was owned by them. We separated last March and now I was left having to deal with them. On many occasions I was treated rudely when going in to pay rent. Several months ago I got in a heated argument with them. During the summer I realized that there was a water main break at the property which took 3 weeks to fix. During that time the Air-conditioning broke. It took a week to replace it, in 100+ weather! When it came time for renewing the lease. They wanted to increase the rent by $50.00 I asked them to replace the carpet, which they wanted to charge me for it. So, I decided I had enough of their BS and gave my notice. During the inspection I'm getting charged for blinds which were broken prior to moving in, us putting decorations on the walls, the bad carpet, and many ottoman things which I found obscured! I had an agreement with the inspector who I had issues with prior. I told him I'd be back today to put out the trash cans. I got there, and the gate was locked. What a waste of gas! I sent them an email, which I got a nasty response to. Be very wary because they're slum lords. I'm going to file a complaint with the city! DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. I applied for this property last week. You willingly took my personal information, ran a credit check AFTER you noticed my income did not meet your requirements of AFTER taxes. WHY, did you run a credit check knowing you had all the information you needed to deny me prior? I had my realtor even call and ask all the appropriate questions before applying and never was disclosed to him that you require 3x AFTER TAXES!!!. Your credit check has dropped my credit rating when I'm desperately in need to find a place to live with my ESA animals. You have scammed me from $75.00, as well as denied me without telling me. I had to have someone else call and speak with you on my behalf to get an answer. I still have yet to receive any email of denial from you. THIS COMPANY IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND THEY LIED TO US ABOUT RENTAL TERMS!!! They lied to both my realtor and I about the terms of their property. They then took our $100 application fee then denied us and told us it can't be refunded. Mind you, their properties are NOT clean (saw 2 of them) , their office smells and is dirty and falling apart, and they are extremely rude both in person and over the phone. All of their homes look like someone was rushed to move out and no cleaning whatsoever took place after they vacated. There's also left behind trash on their properties! THE WORST MANAGEMENT COMPANY HANDS DOWN, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AS THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW. I'm a small female from the south so I'm pretty self sufficient when it comes to things. Lived in a horse property on 2 acres, even had its own well. These thirsty people will take every cent from you and not think twice. Let me just give you the run down. Moved in and the 2 acres of yard was never fully cleaned, left many garbage bags in the yard that I had picked up and moved. There were bundles of hay left in the front corner of the yard, I don't have horses. The horse stalls were not cleaned out and the inside of the home, the windows still had cobwebs in them prior to moving in. Throughout living there for the 14 months, the well would shut off every other day, felt like I was living in the 1800s going to take a shower and the water is off so I have to walk all the way outside across an acre to turn the water back on. This issue, the pressure switch, was never fully fixed by the company. Of course I could have been way worse and kept having them send out the specialist for the well but he had showed me how to fix it and it saved me time. If I would have known they were going to do me dirty and keep all my deposit then yes I would have had them call him out every time with a smile on my face but I'm the type of person that if I can do it, I will. And the biggest issue of all, the roof leaked twice. First time was handled in a timely manner. Second was never followed up. I went onto the roof and noticed how whomever built this roof needs a new license. Built like a swimming pool with lips on the sides and a drain in the corner but the roof isn't angled to even send the water to the drain so it just sits flat on the roof. I went up there with a broom and swept it off after it stopped raining. These leaks then formed mold in the home. Now I am a very healthy young female. I have never been so sick in my life. I would wake up to nose bleeds, blood dried on my face because it would bleed when I slept. I was having breathing problems, my left arm would go numb, shooting pains in my left side and neck. Went to the doctor, they told me that I have Costochondritis which is an inflammation in my ribs and chest wall. And the cause is unknown. I had 2 swollen glands in my neck and armpit. And if you put any pressure on my armpit gland my left arm would go completely numb and lose mobility. My eyes would burn throughout the day, they were red, and I'd wake up to crust and sometimes puss in them which is disgusting. Went to the eye doctor, they declare me with dry eye and I've never had a problem with my eyes before. Then my dog gets sick with similar problems to mine. He couldn't breathe, started wheezing, had a minor stroke and he is only 2 years old. Took him to the vet and they put him in a breathing tank, sedated him and wanting to keep him over night and send him to a specialist in the morning. He wasn't his normal self again for 2 months. Didn't jump around, didn't want to play, didn't want to eat, didn't want to go outside, all the while not being able to breathe and being miserable. I felt so bad for him. That's when I knew that something serious was wrong and the only common denominator was the house. So I told this company that I believed the house had mold and that it most likely started from the roof leaks. They basically laughed in my face and stated that there is no way the house had mold as we live in Las Vegas. The house I forgot to mention was built in 1978 its an older house. Then I decided to have a mold specialist come out and test. And like I had expected, I had mold. The house has 14 different counts of mold spores in 7 different types of mold, classified as major. The company then wanted my report which I had paid for but do not wish to give to them as they did not care to even listen to me when I believed the home had mold and it was making me sick. They can pay for the report if they really want it. Its one thing to make myself sick, but my dogs are my children and no I wasn't having that! Ultimately I left but this company honestly needs their business license and their real estate license revoked permanently. I am on my second term with Nevada Real Estate Corp. and if anyone is dealing with them, please do not. The reason why I am on my second term is because they used a tactic which forces you to sign ahead. If one does not sign an extension, the rent goes up 5% each month. This was my mistake, to not prepare to leave on time. They have many people answering and calling customers, therefore, no one is held responsible for anything said or promised. Their contracts ask the tenants to keep up yards and take care of most repairs, so look out for their older properties. There is a so called supervisor by the name of Connie who has the nerve to actually yell and talk over her customers. This is completely unacceptable. I am disgusted with her behavior. Had it been a man, I would have gone down to the office and deal with him face to face. When there are issues, they make appointments and then never show up. I have had to deal with disrespect , high pricing , and a so called "lady" screaming and talking over me as I am trying to explain my situation at the rental property at 10340 Pompei Pl. The issue with Connie was that I was given two appointments for a Gardner to remove a dead tree and the guy didn't show up on both occasions. She kept saying he showed up the second time, but I was home both days and no one reached out to me. They have my cell number as well, so that is for the birds. Even if he did show up, Connie has no right to talk down to customers, not yell , let alone talk over them. She is a a real example of Nevada Real Estate is all about: taking advantage of people for a dollar. I was happy to move in to the community of Summerlin, but Connie has thoroughly convinced me to move out. I am going to finish my term and leave ASAP. If you are looking to deal with these guys, know that the customer service is lousy, pricing is high, and repairs all all on the tenant, not to mention their tactics to get you extend your contract. read more

Update to this story, moved out, was charged for tree trimming, a sometimes dangerous task involving special tools and knowledge and, therefore, not a part of ordinary yard maintenance, bush trimming although the bushes were trimmed, house cleaning, despite the fact I moved into a filthy place and did clean the house nonetheless, and miscellaneous odd things for NORMAL wear and tear. People need to be aware of the businesses that routinely abuse others because they feel there will be no consequences. Avoid this realty company as there are many ethical ones out there. Avoid AMY YU as she had no compunctions about lying for, presumably, extra money for herself as I can see no other motive at work here. read more

A month ago I went to their office in China Town to turn in an application for a home rental. My agent and I toured the house a few hours prior. The location was perfect and the house was cute with the exception of it being dirty and messy as if the previous tenants just got up and moved out without properly cleaning after themselves. The house was being showed to potential future renters before the property management company cleaned the house. I had ask Connie if someone will be cleaning the house prior to move in? She replied rudely and abrasively, "you rent first, pay first then we clean! You tell us what needs to be clean. We check your credit first, then clean!" Then they proceeded to show me pictures of the interior of the house. My daughter looked at me and asked why the lady was yelling. So I took my cash deposit back and my application and left. If I have to deal with that type of unprofessionalism every month, no thank you. I just dodged a bullet. I went through the application process, got approved for a unit, and was about to sign a contract. Nevada Real Estate Corp. wanted to add an addendum to the standard GLVAR lease. The addendum was predatory--it conflicted with and altered the lease to take a lot of power away from the tenant and give a lot to the landlord. For example, they tried to add a clause that would let the landlord terminate the lease at any time with a 30-day notice without cause, even though the lease says the term is one year. They tried to add a clause that would let them access your unit without notice once every six months for a "check-up." They tried to add a clause where, if the landlord defaults on their mortgage, Nevada Real Estate Corp. does not need to take any action and can continue collecting your rent. They also added in an extra non-applicable utility fee in two different locations and called it a "typo," and also required the tenant to do a lot of things that were not applicable to the unit (such as requiring a carpet cleaning receipt for a unit without carpet, and if you don't provide one, you would be in material breach of the agreement and face termination). When I pointed out all these problems to the broker, she refused to discuss and said this addendum was mandatory for the lease and that it "would not be adjusted." I withdrew my application and did not execute the lease. If you are renting a property managed by Nevada Real Estate Corp., make sure you carefully read all the paperwork before signing. Have an attorney, or at the very least, your own real estate agent, review the contract and addendum before signing. Be vigilant and make sure you do not get put in a bad situation because of them. read more

I rented a house for 4 years, since I moved in there were several problems with the property, they sent maintenance people that couldn't speak English, used my towels to clean their mess and their response was IT"S OK! this happened every time they sent repair people. They were installing a new microwave and the guy instead of using a latter, used the stove and countertop!! His response? IT' OK! there was a cracked mirror when we moved in and was never fixed. they charged me $400.00 for it from my security deposit! They said is from another cracked mirror BUT when I returned the keys, and we did the walked thru the mirror they are charging me for was fine. I had to take a picture of the walked thru I signed, because he couldn't give me a copy, the people in the office are RUDE!!! I'm taking them to court! So sad that we rent from this people, they think they are doing people a favor when we paid for properties that are not even in good condition. read more

Charging us $80 for smoke detector batteries and light bulbs. $220.00 for 3 toilet seats that were good no breaks. $180 for 3 sets of shitty plastic blinds that were wrecked when we moved in. Did a year lease with these guys as my prop management Corp. Once my lease was finished there were multiple erroneous charges deducted from my security deposit reimbursement. On top of that I was out of the country when the reimbursement check was sent to me so it ended up back at their office. When I went to pick up they wouldn't give me the check which they already signed until I paid an additional $50 for a lost pool key. They have been professional every time I speak with them either on the phone or by email or if I visit the office. When there was an issue with water heater or washer and dryer. They have been quick to contact me and send over a technician to help fix in the same day or the next day. They are always professional with me and treat me with respect and kindness. We have rented a house through NV Real Estate Corp for almost 2 years. The application process was very clear and we had an approval in 5 days. The gentleman who did the walk through with us upon receiving the keys was very nice and took pictures of everything. I noticed a few things after move in and emailed pictures in which they replied and noted the issues. Rent must be paid via money order or online banking. Clearly this policy is because they've had issues with bounced checks in the past. Not a problem for us. I have only had to call them three times for property issues and they sent someone out the same day all three times. I came home last night to a broken water heater and emailed them right away. They contacted me by 10am this morning and we had a new water heater by 6:30pm. I am very impressed by their promptness in addressing issues. This company seems to have many negative reviews but we are very pleased in their management practices. I was hesitant to rent from them because of the reviews. If you qualify, pay your rent on time, and take care of the property they are kind and will treat you fairly. read more

Stay away from this company! We are renting a house for $1400 a month and have had nothing but problems with them. It started before we even signed the lease and has continued to escalate. Their office staff is extremely rude, unresponsive and obviously have no respect for anyone. There was a pile of work to be done here, they had a month to get it done before we moved here and they did nothing until we were in the house. Had we known we'd have refuse to accept residence. We went 13 days with no kitchen stove because they couldn't get their sh** together. We went over 2 weeks without a dishwasher. All the bathroom faucets leak so we have to turn the water off, all 3 toilets leak and one of the showers drips. We currently have been without running water in the house for 3 days because of a break in the main water line past the meter. Because it happened on the weekend, it wasn't a priority to them. We rented our property on an emergency basis and I didn't bother to look up reviews before hand. RIGHT NOW: my air conditioner has gone out for the third time within a 4 month period. First time was arnd April and thankfully it wasn't hot but from the time I reported it broken to the time it was fixed was nearly 2 weeks. 2nd time was 4th of July weekend and from time of report to fixing it was out 4 days. 3rd time is now and I reported it broken on July 29 and my air is not fixed and it's frickn over 105 degrees out. Since I have 4 kids in the home, I had no choice but to purchase a very small $300 portable air conditioning unit and when I emailed this lady that I was going to take the expense off rent and she said "yes", I get there to pay my adjusted rent minus the expense and these fools want the entire rent and told me IF the home warranty ppl (the ones paying for repair/replacement of AC) decides to reimburse me that's up to them but they want all the rent...OH HELL TO THE NO! so now I have to work through this problem. Apparently they want my children to die of heat stroke and exhaustion before they will think about making any kind of accommodations even though THEY are responsible for managing the property and maintaining it according to state law. Sooo now I'm going to call housing authority and get in touch with a lawyer for their gross negligence. My youngest is 9 months old ppl! I want to start by saying my husband and I are very nice, understanding, and caring people. We completely undertand that things happen. However Nevada Real Estae Corp is honestly the WORST company, I can not stress this enough! They screwed my family and I from getting into our house. We looked at a house that was perfect for us and in our daughters school district. Mind you that we had been looking for a house in this area for years! Anyway, we looked at the house 3 times, our parents flew in to Vegas to look at the house as well. We signed the paper work and was suppose to move into the house in a month. We terminated our lease with our landlord, packed our entire house, dug up all of our stones and lanscaping in the back yard to take to the new house, had 4 yards sales to get rid of some stuff that couldn't go with us, and bought new furniture specifically for the new house to be deliver 3 days after we moved in. We forwarded our mail, transfered our cable, electric, and water over to the the new house. We rented a uhaul and paid movers to help us move, we paid for boxes, and packing supplies as well. These people called us THE DAY THAT WE WERE SUPPOSE TO MOVE IN, at 11 am and told us it failed the inspection and that there was mold in the kitchen floor boards. They said we had to wait a week to move in. We were not happy because we didn't have anywhere to live for that week, but there was nothing we could do. So we said that it was ok. THEN THEY CALL US AT 330PM (we were suppose to get the keys at 4pm) and told us that the owners TOOK THE HOUSE OFF THE MARKET and WE COULD NOT MOVE INTO IT!!?!? WE WERE CRUSHED AND FURIOUS! We asked how this could happened because We signed the paperwork...the NEVER GOT THE OWNERS SIGNATURE! So We were out of luck. We spent over a month packing everything, buying furniture, having yard sales, buying supplies and tranfering everying in our name to the new house. They were extremely baffling rude to us and would,not answer our calls. It finally went back on the market. we called first thing to see if we could move into it. They denied us and said that we already knew about the mold so they didn't want us moving into the house. They also said that since I left a bad review (which was only the truth) on yelp that they would never do business with us. I apologised and took the review down. Because of that, She said that she would work with us, AND THEN IGNORED ALL of our calls! Btw, not to mention when we forwarded all of our mail to the other house...they wouldn't meet us the house to get our mail...which had important mail that we were waiting for..we got our mail over a month and a half later. Also, when we were looking at the house the neighbors came out and talked to us awhile, they said that there were people before that that was suppose to,move e in as well, but never did. They warned us that something sketchy was going on then. We should have listened. I honestly don't think they cleaned the mold like they should have.... I just moved out of a home I rented for 3 years. Out of my $1950 security deposit, I was returned $70. They are claiming the issues in the home when I moved in are now my financial responsibility to fix. I'm being charged for normal wear and tear, nothing they're charging for is broken or missing from my 3 years there, or in any different condition than when I moved in. For example, they want $300 for landscaping when the HOA covers it all, and all I was responsible for were cheap rocks in the backyard which are there. (Update- I was I turned yesterday that's being refunded) However I'm still being charged $450 to paint a chipped front door in that same condition when I moved in, as well as for scuff marks present at move in. I'm also being charged $800 for a plethora of things such as missing drain stoppers that were never there, tightening a toilet seat, changing a few light bulbs, changing air filters just changed, mopping an already stained & dirty garage floor, etc. I'm being charged enough trumped up "repairs" that amount to another months rent. I lived with cracked bathroom tiles, screens falling off windows, closet doors falling off tracks, never once having my front porch light working. I paid for damage to carpet over a year ago they refused to change out after I paid them my portion. I paid for drywall repairs needed on my own. The only thing they ever repaired in 3 years was a broken water heater flooding the garage the 1st year I was there. We have moved out of our place that we rented from this company for about 3 - 4 months now and they still have me as the contact the home which is not the case. They have been sending us emails of HOA Violations, we don't even live there anymore! Are you kidding! Just another reason why you shouldn't rent from this company. Completely unorganized! I have only been renting a property managed by Nevada Real Estate Corp for one month and I already want to get as far away from them as possible. They are completely useless on maintenance requests and they require all rent payments to be with certified funds. What was the point of them doing a credit check, a background check and salary confirmation if they aren't going to accept personal checks? I was told it is because they had too many tenants who had checks that bounced. That's your own damn problem, not mine. Maybe you should screen your tenants better, but you have all the evidence right in front of you that says my check will clear. My lease even says that certified funds would only be required if my check does not clear the bank. When you walk into their office on Spring Mountain, all you see are the backs of heads and no one turns around to say anything. If you're lucky maybe one of them will speak English after you cause a scene to get their attention. When I was signing my lease they would only give me 1 key and 1 garage door opener because my wife wasn't there with me. She hadn't moved to Vegas yet, so they made her go to their s$%&hole office once she had moved, fill out an application, pay an application fee and then sign the lease before they would give her a key and the other garage door opener. That's just ridiculous since I had already included her on the initial application and she's my wife, not some random that I'm sharing the place with. I see my review was taken down so I will write another. These people are thieving lowlife SCUMBAGS. Unprofessional and rude. At the end of our lease we left this house in better shape than we got it the still ripped us off for the cleaning fee than had the balls to try to make us pay to replace 10 year old carpet. I took them to small,claims court making them take their lawyer 3 times costing them about 1200 and I beat them and got 85 % of my deposit back. They beat me for the 350 cleaning fee. 11. Sept 22. We go to the Nevada management office. Courtney gave us the G&L Restoration contract to sign and gave us back a copy of the contract. Later we found out that G&L Restoration is unlicensed as they had claimed back on Sept 14th. They also denied that we had signed this contract, but we had the copy. They were trying to cover up that they had given us a contract for an unlicensed contractor (G&L Restoration). Now, we don't have the trust for this management company. 12. Oct. 8. The day before we received the Insurance estimates, we had gone to see the house, Susan had already started the repairs in a hurry and had the insulation installed on Sunday. We don't understand why she started the repairs before we had the estimates of the repairs to be done. 13. Oct 10. After we received the estimates from Insurance Company, we sent e-mail to Susan and The Nevada real Estate Corp and asked why so much money. Before, Susan had mention it would be about 20 thousand. Susan had never giving us any information on the estimated costs and what things were going to be fixed. Never gave us the mediation report. We don't know why Susan told us that the Insurance (Diana) had told her not to discuss any estimates with us; this was before Susan had started worked on the house. After all we are going through we didn't want Susan to fix the house anymore. We wanted to follow the contract to stop the work and pay Susan on what she has already done, but The Nevada management did not want to help us. Judith Sullivan (Nevada Estate Corp broker) even told us that we must deal with Susan directly or she would take legal. We feel that The Nevada worked with Susan instead and not for us. 14. Oct. After many problems, we went to the Nevada State Contractor Board to complain Susan Liu. We found out that G&L Restoration has no license and that we need to write a complaint. We found that Susan in 2014, had this same problem already. 15. Oct. We went to speak to a lawyer and showed him the contract that the Nevada management had given us to sign. He already knew Susan and her contract. He told us that Susan uses this contract with many other people many times. The lawyer told us that Susan uses this way to cheat people from many management companies to make to her money. Because the contract, the lawyer advised us to let Susan Liu complete the contract but ask her to give us all the receipts, permits or licenses she used on this job. 16. After the Nevada Management don't help us, and from the advice from the lawyer, we made a new agreement with Susan Liu. Susan Liu doesn't follow with many of the items we agreed. When we confronted her on an issue, she would threaten us with a lien in our house. Whenever she received a check from Insurance she would blackmail by e-mail with a lien on the house us many times into signing the check to her. 17. Oct. When we first received the Insurance checks for the restoration with our names and the unlicensed G&L Restoration. When we argued with Susan that G&L Restoration was unlicensed, she right away told the Insurance (Diana Barnes) to change the G&L Restoration to C&L Enterprise. They send stop payment and reissued the checks ro C&L Enterprise. I called Diana to see why they had stopped payment. She explained the Susan Liu had made a mistake and had pouched the wrong key on her computer. Don't make sense since everything has been G&L Restoration including the contract they had given us. 18. After the Agreement and without the help of the Nevada Management, Susan did not follow her agreement: 1. Send us a fake invoice for plumbing from J&L repair services for the water heater, toilet and electricity. We looked up information on J&L in the internet and called them. They answered and denied they ever did any work at this house and did not have any invoice for such work. Susan never performed or gave us a receipt on the electrical system (Megohmmeter check electrical circuit) 2. One time one of her workers got sick and tried to blames us. She claimed we had put dog repellent among the dust the worker was sweeping. It was late at night when she called us. In the morning at 3:00 clock, we had to investigate the house but we did not smell anything except for the dusty floors everywhere in the house, top and bottom. 3. We tried to ask the Nevada management to help us with Susan from bothering us. If we pay for them, they will send the worker to see what happened. After their response, we don't want nothing to do with this company, and finish the contract with the Nevada management. But nobody can help us deal with all this problems we suffer. read more

Do not do business with this company, i had a small amount of an old bill that was on my credit report 37 dollars, this made me a person who was denied to rent a house from this company, my family needed two check stubs and i needed four and other prof,all was given and a week had pass called the company and was told about the report, that was taken care of that day,when i called about why i needed four check stubs, i was told not to aurgue with who ever she was no name and not very good English either, just fair warning if your not Asian go some where else.
