One of the community's goto places for used clothing. Service courteous, but abrupt under pressure. Take donations during narrow time windows, so plan ahead if you are making a donation. The quality of their products is good despite being higher mileage. The service is attentive to what's available and what's needed. Having shopped here for years, this thrift is in bad shape. There is signage about their pricing, but it's now generally hidden and even so, they don't respect the prices they post. Today I tried to buy a quart glass jar to store paint in, found the sign (it was hidden) that says pint jars are a quarter and quart jars are 50 cents, only to be told at checkout it is $3. I said the sign says 50 cents she said oh thats for a pint jar. No, your sign says thats quart jars are 50 cents. She said well it's going to be $3 but today it's buy one get one free so that's good. A fellow shopper who overheard this said "these prices are too high!" as I walked past him to put it back. I mean, spaghetti sauce comes in these jars! This has happened repeatedly. Their inventory is not moving because it's overpriced. The back room is dark, has boxes of unsorted merchandise sitting, and it had rained so water had backed up into the room on the concrete floor. I have tried to drop off good items that I know families need and have been turned away so I have been driving around with 3 sacks full of items For the home, DVD, books and clothing that people need. They say no clothing so I went in and looked and they had half Empty racks. It is a shame. Poor management. read more

No problem with this place. THIS IS WHAT A THIFT STORE USED TO BE GROWING UP 20 + yrs ago in Chicago. Cheap. $1 tops. $3 blazers. $2 lamps. $5 boots. $2 shoes. In Den the 2nd prices are ridiculous. Bring your own big bag and sift thru all the stuff. Tops for kids. Bottoms for me. Housestuff. I bought all this stuff for a royal tea party I will host for my girl's bday. Super low prices with a huge selection. CASH ONLY! Only thing that I hated was that the clothing was not sized!! Only thrift store I have ever been to where they cannot take the time to put shirts, kids clothing etc, into S-M-L and XL. It took to long to go through a huge aisle long mess of clothing of both girls and boys just to find stuff for 2 kids. My husband found old Fantasy RPG video games and strategy guides for $1 each which were a great score. Next time I'll go without kids so I have more time to shop. read more

I went to donate 3 small bags of items and was met with the rudest person I've ever encountered. She was informing me that I needed to go away because some other car was ahead of me. I just turned around and went home. I want nothing to do with this place. I'll probably just end up throwing my stuff away. I do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

This is a sweet little volunteer-run thrift shop. Be aware that they only accept cash- it is not a secret, as it's even stated on the door. They have a great selection of household goods, clothing, games, and tons of puzzles. Picked up a great purse for a buck, and a couple other great deals. Cash only and currently still requiring masks whether you are vaccinated or not, so be prepared. It's a pretty standard thrift store, with the largest part being clothing, shoes, and accessories. Then there's the kitchen and housewares sections. Clothes are sorted by sizes now, so that is an improvement from a previous review. You can find quality name brand treasures for cheap if you stop in regularly. Most prices are posted on the wall or racks. Be prepared for a cranky staff person and just know that it's not personal. She's like that to nearly everyone, but still worth searching out some deals. read more

I love a good thrift store and this one's definitely good! They have a nice inventory of clean, quality clothing & housewares and a better than average selection of books. Prices, on the other hand, are lower than average. Can't beat that! We arrived at 10 minutes until closing, and still managed to find several items to purchase in that limited amount of time, including some name brand shoes for a couple of bucks. Free magazines out front, and on our visit they had a great selection. read more

Tried to donate a small box of books and was told they were not taking them for a month because the person who puts them out is overwhelmed by all the books. So I go in there and there is PLENTY of room on the shelves for more books and not a whole lot of new books the past few times I have gone in there over a few months time. Why the book person thinks she needs to alphabetize the fiction books by authors doesn't make sense. Just get them on the shelves and move them out like every other place. They also do not take credit cards, so you have to remember that every time you go there and hope you have cash. But not taking a small box of books when they have room on the shelves and no good turnover in selection is kind of silly. read more

great prices plus on Wednesdays you can fill a whole paper bag full of clothing for under 8 dollars. toys are priced well and were mostly together. Not a huge place, but the do well with the space they have. they do not accept debit or credit cards but they do accept checks so have your checkbook handy, blow the dust off of it if you have to. The dressing rooms are small and do not have doors but instead a curtain so if you aren't careful you could easily be exposed. read more

While driving around taking photos of fall colors, we decided to check out thrift stores and found New Bees. The shopping was ok, some things reasonably priced. When I went to pay the woman at the cash register was one of the rudest, nastiest people I've ever run into. I'm not sure if she was rude to customers because she felt superior to anyone who might shop there, or if she is just nasty by nature. I feel sorry for anyone forced to shop there regularly. read more
