Corpus Christi - a Catholic Church located in Lexington South - is the perfect place for you and…read moreyour family to connect with God. Corpus Christi Church is gorgeous inside, when you first walk inside the church you see a stunning alter that has an enormous cross hanging from the ceiling and along the promenter their is mini marble statues of The Station of the Church. In addition, their is a ton of pues where you can sit and pray, but during the holiday season I would recommend arriving early because the church gets filled very quickly. Don't worry if you have little children because their is a huge cry room where you can sit increase your child gets a little out of hand in church.  Furthermore, the church offeres a ton of masses on the weekend: Saturday: 5pm-6pm (English),7pm-8pm (Spanish). Sunday: 8am-9am (English), 11am-12pm(English), and 5pm-6pm(English). In addition masses during the week are offered: Tuesday: 6:30pm, Wednesday: 12:15pm, Thursday:8:30am, and Friday:8:30am. Also Confession is offered in English after every weekday mass and at 8:30am Saturday morning and in Spanish on Saturday at 6:30pm till 8:00pm and Wednesday 4pm till 6pm.  One aspect I enjoy about Corpus Christi is the band that they have at Sunday 5pm mass. Unlike having the traditional choir they have a band of parish prisoners that sing and anyone is free to join.  Also, if you are nervous about parking, dont worry, because at the church they have a  ton of regular and handicap parking spots, but once again during the holidays I would recommend leaving early because Corpus Christi tends to get pretty crowded during the holiday seasons.   Furthermore, the church offers a lot of activities for families and prisoners at the church to do, but they tend have a fee with them. Also the church offers CCD classes up to 9th grade and youth group for anyone over 9th grade. Lastly, Corpus Christi helps the community out by providing a food pantry for those in need.  If you are new to the area or want to connect with God, you should definitely check Corpus Christi Catholic Church out because you will have the best experience there connecting with Jesus Christ.

Beautiful Church! Pastor has an outgoing personality. Love it. The worst part is the choir, but…read moremore specifically the Director. His demeanor and music seems to stem from an opera. Needs to loosen it up. There needs to be more like the protestant churches. They make the congregation happy. His is dull and boring comparatively speaking.
